@@theoutlawking9123 in the books she's 17, in the show she's rhaenyras age. If youre going with book alicents age then laena wansnt 12 in the books. He could've just not slept with her until she was 18, political strength is much more important than guilt. Marrying a valyrian would have ultimately not been as bad as marrying a Hightower. Or best of all, he shouldn't have reproduced at all.
