This is so good! Alicent is so tragic and my heart BREAKS for her

I find it frustrating how makers didn't turn her into a powerful character from a victim but at the same time it is actually realistic. Being a woman in a misogynist society even if she had became a queen it doesn't always mean that she would gain power specially when she was brought up with the believe that being a woman she is just there to be used by men in her life and it is her duty . So exact point is that she could have gained power but didn't because of the entire brain wash during her upbringing . it was clear while she talked to rhaenys , she believed it is her role to be only a ladder and support for men in her life .

I have always loved team 💚 they are alot better than team🖤 . They are such hypocrites. It's annoying just because alicent married Vesris then everyone hates even though she is the victim

nah i prefer rhaenyra and her children over mysogynystic rapists and murderers and alicent is like one of the biggest hypocrite on the show. i love her character but she is not some kinda martyr her fans trying to make her

​@@morganamybelovedRhaenyra was a whore liar and a selfish woman who abandoned her father for years knowing he was sick and dying and then she came back not because she cared but because she wanted him to defend her over a lie and the moment he finished defending her like hours after she left knowing he was sick and dying. She saw the state he was in but still she left She made her dying father walk out of the room and up the stairs knowing her sons are bastards. You know aemond was the one who was attacked and when he decided to defend him self they decided to cut his eye out and say it was self defense . The 4 of them attacked him he picked upa a rock to defend himself. They bullied him told him they got him a dragon and then they gave him a pig and when they went before Vesris all she gets is an apology. You expect her to be ok whit it .She swore on her mother's daemon never touched her. Alicent defended her many times . At the council against her father and agaist criston when he insulted rhaenyra .Alicent was just following the orders of her father . If you watch the series again you will notice that she wasn't happy when Vesris announced thire marriage . Of you want to blame alicent for not raising her children properly then blame Vesris too he is thire father. I believe that rhaenyra is the true heir though and alicent misunderstood Vesris,s last message. He was talking about ageon uniting the kingdom. If she did know the message why will she try to defend rhaenyra against the council. She will just crown him and not care. It's Vesris,s fault her son died if he had punished those bastards for cutting out aemond,s eye Luke wouldn't be dead. He wasn't just .So yes alicent may not be perfect bu at least she wasn't a liar whit bastards
