PHEW. All I can say is series five KILLED me. In good ways, and in bad. A confirmation of them having a relationship was well needed, and although we only got flashbacks, it still meant a lot that they were shown as having actually been together. Also, that KISS, as well as John being terrified when she was locked up in that freezer, and as well as all the other scenes we got with them throughout. Obviously, the end was disappointing, but after a rewatch I’m kind of seeing the charm of it. Of course, I wish she hadn’t died, but it was a poetic way for her to go, and the call backs to season one made it the dramatic ending she’s clearly always dreamed of having.

I think she was dying. I think her psychopathy was caused by a brain abnormality. she found out about it after the mess in Amsterdam. its the real reason she left its why she came back... and its why she tried to manipulate John into killing her. It was how she wanted to go out.
These two are such a freaking tease. Good Lord! Just marry each other already!

Ok, i've just finished season 5, and i just can't believe my eyes... man, this is what i call good television, they just went full circle with this.
Sure she is not dead!!Even the producer said it i'ts hard to believe! No blood,no body!!! please come on!! She a huge part of "Luther" universe!
She was intrigued at first , and eventually fought for and loved him. ( in her own twisted way despite her nature). He loved her but couldn’t admit it nor fight for her.. because, voicing it meant acknowledging that she’s changed him in a such a fundamental way, that his sense of morality and self would have been destroyed. She kept wanting him to say it and he couldn’t. It was a game until it wasn’t. All the dead people between them didn’t help.
i started sobbing so much at 0:25 bc its like how she used to be before

The producer doesn't write it though I wouldn't trust what he says. Also he didn't say anything in series 4 but that were at the beginning of the season so he couldn't but I think she is dead but somebody like her daughter or something will basically replace her.
