+NOLAIC CHCK So glad these videos are being enjoyed. Really hard to believe this was 25 years ago. At the time, AIC was just a really good local band. You could share a beer with the band after the show. I shared a few beers with Layne at the Central Tavern after one of their shows. It was a great time to be living in Seattle and following these great local (soon to be crazy famous) bands. The VHS tape of this show sat in my closet for almost 20 years before I posted it. Thanks again for the great comments.

+TheGrunger32 Id die well almost die to have the vhs to this, you lucky....lol... I love all these videos you posted, I come from well next to New Orleans, Louisiana and we heard lots of good music there for awhile, then it was like they banned us from good music? You could see celebrities , of all sorts all over New Orleans at different times trying to blend in, its crazy over here especially during Mardie Gras, But for me Live music was my thing and if I could find a voice blasting from even a hole in the wall , I was in, It had to be an awesome voice, so sometimes I got surprised when I got in and someone was on the mic, I guess I gotba good ear! lol..Thanks for posting all these videos, yours are some of my favorites! ❤❤❤💞💞

Dude you did a great job on this video. I filmed a lot of grunge stuff in the early 90s. Also had a friend who films some really great stuff and I have the master clones of his 8 mm film. If you're interested in a trade let me know. I filmed Pearl Jam with permission and some of my shows have been uploaded here but of course I have better copies. I also filled Rage Against the Machine with permission a bunch of times. Tool, AIC, damn it's too early to remember them all, LOL.

I would loved to have been there when this song was being jammed into creation, what transpired into the thoughts/melody behind it, as in what event occured to inspire it. I am sure it was not a good event, the reason it is so full of passion.

Daisy Suspiria Yep, seriously. I went to the Off Ramp many many times in the early 90s. I used my dads huge clunky recorder to film this. You know the old recorders where you inserted a VHS tape? I saw AIC in those days probably 100 times or more. Plus many other bands. I also have a recording of a good local band called My Sisters Machine from the Off Ramp around the same time. Ask me any questions about the lay of the land in Seattle at that time to prove I am the recorder of this film. Have a great day.

TheGrunger32 You don't need to prove, I'm just so jealous ( in a good way) . I would have loved to be in Seattle in those days - I was still in high school in Europe . What a. Great era and AIC have been my top band since I was 16. How did it feel being there in those days? Lol I know the massive VHS recorder ha! :)) I miss those days! I remember painstakingly making a mixed tape with 12 songs and I would play it over and over again... now we are saturated with music, it's too easy to get .Its not the same. Do u still live in the area?

To answer your question, those times were awesome. I was young (fresh out of college) and single. Of course, at the time, we had no idea how huge the scene (and bands) were going to get. Like when Pearl Jam started out, they were known around the area as Jeff and Stone's new band. The two main bands I followed around town, meaning any show they were playing, we'd (my crew) would go - were AIC and My Sisters Machine. Of course, we'd try to see Soundgarden as much as possible but they were starting to explode by then with the release of Ultramega OK. I did end up seeing Soundgarden around town about 10 times before Badmotorfinger came out. After that it was much larger venues. If they did play a small club, they would be billed as Vince Whirlwind and the Nude Dragons. I agree with the aspect of too easy to access too much music these days. The scene got ridiculous by mid-1993. Bands were moving to the area from all over the place. And the clothes we'd wear ended up in a fashion spread in something like Cosmo - laughable - the grunge look.

His monitors must have sucked because he is flat for a lot of this, and it doesn't sound like it is because he couldn't hit the notes. It's just slightly flat but you can hear it.
