I love your spirit, Brother! I am more in the original band camp for likely being the better of the two new releases. They had all the big radio hits, and they were more musical together and more of an experimental unit. Where this album sounds like the musicians had to take a back seat for more vocals over musicianship. Which i love plenty of Alice vocals, but the album should have been 10 minutes longer to allow for the band to show off more. I am more stoked for the surviving members of the original band release! But i do enjoy ROAd very much and even more so than Detroit Stories already. Hang tight for my own whacky review of the album.

Dude, you’re hilarious! I just got my copy of the deluxe edition of Road today from Amazon. I haven’t listened to it yet, I just started getting into Alice Cooper this past year. I have already picked up half of his discography. I’m almost 50 years old, I don’t know why I have waited so long to check out his music 🤷‍♂️ Keep up the great work!🤘🤘

Great rock n roll party album! One thing tho Road Rats was not done by the OG's. It was the Wagner/Hunter era. Also not sure you mentioned Magic Bus is a cover from the WHO. Was surprised when you said Last Temptation was one of your favorites, cause I think 100 miles sounds like it could have been on that album. Classick Cooper. I am so glad you listened to this several times, instead just one listen, cause that is just not a fair shot to ANY band. I totally dig this cd all the way thru. Puts me in a party mood. WooHoo. Like it love it like it love it, is nod to I'm 18, not the Stones, IMO...lol ROCK ON brotha

Thanks for watching man! I’m seeing a lot of people saying it’s the best since “Trash” and “Hey Stoopid” it definitely fits in line with that era.

His best album since 2005. I loved a couple of songs on Detroit stories, but that was too long. I would drop The rules of the road and Magic Bus and it would be essential.

I saw Alice Cooper last night and boy he put on a show! No wonder they call him the Godfather of Shock Rock 🤘🏻

Dude, that record has ALL of Alice in one BIG Package, bro. Especially loved the fast paced loosey-goosey tracks like "Go Away" and "Rules of the Road" à la Zipper Catches Skin. And then those hard f***ing hitting numbers like "The Last Goodbye" and "Dead Dont Dance" à la Brutal Planet or HELL even Raise Your Fist and Yell!!! And lets not forget "White Line Frankenstein" as being the truest hard-smashing road song ever, since "Road Rats"!! Surely, everything in-between blends in to be a Showcase that a 75 year old Veteran in Shock-Rock can still bust out a KILLER Record 55+ years after presenting us all with the lovely Kachina for the first time!! Always love your reviews and antics man!!! YOU are one of the Last Metal Soldiers out there that truly knows his shit in the community!!! But enough idle chatter, Just...Keep postin’ em and ROCK OUT MATE!!!

I can't get it here 😫 I really dig this album. I have wanted a new AC group album. That was my fav era. However the ones from paranormal were just okay so don't have a huge expectation. I will say a new OG AC album is right up there with a Steve Perry or Sebastian bach reunion album lol those won't happen. Always dig your videos man. Gonna do an AC video today so look for that a quick video. We should do a music video one of these days.

Got me stoked for that Alice Cooper Mick. Only seen him the once in Australia in the 2000's, he did the chop Britneys head off routine. Been a fan since then, great review thanks for the video🤘

Wasn’t crazy into Alice Cooper as a hardcore. I like the hits, that was about it… Heard there’s a new album out, I thought I’ll look at it in curiosity and woah I was surprised at how much I like this! It’s gotta be because there’s the touring band putting ideas in. Production it’s great too, apparently it was done live too which is just awesome. I’m gonna get this on CD with Blu-Ray, the blu-ray has been highly recommended too so I’ll pick that up this weekend. I felt more Intrigued when I heard about a new album already done… I 100% agree with you, I want more of this Touring band he’s with. Reuniting with the original lineup, hmm i don’t know about that. Billion dollar babies and Killer doesn’t blow me away necessarily… but Road did!🤷🏻‍♂️ Great video Mick, I wish you all the best.

Great album, and i actually agree with everyone that mentioned both Hey Stoopid and Dirty Diamonds as his two best, prior to this. Both great start to finish, Road is equally great, in my opinion. Great😮 review, greater album. Great job by Alice and his band!

Outside of the Hardcore fan’s physical product doesn’t move like it used to…Not to mention people don’t appreciate music like they used to. It doesn’t change the fact that it’s a stellar album! 🤘🏻💀👍🏻

Some ok songs not that impressed that much overall

It's listenable but not memorable. Detroit Stories was as good as an Alice album gets - but this one is more like the average stuff he pumps out. Okay, entertaining enough, but not GREAT.

Average album by the Coop , not too many highlights. Rules Of The Road has to be his worst song ever , it's just terrible.

Huge AC fan since 1971. This new album is horrible. Nothing I need to hear twice.
