What really killed Psycho Circus was Gene and Paul wanting it to be all grandiose and not letting Ace and Peter play on it.

Hi all the way from hamilton new Zealand..my story...I got this album on tape in January 1987 the week I 1st started my working life as a 17 year old appreciate as a painter decorator...it absolutely blew my mind..so catchy the guitar tone is so 80s..life and death is awsum..I think rais your fist and yell is this albums evil twin..my 2 favorite cooper albums..52 years old now and still love them..metal on..love your passion my brother..regards..ian couch.

awesome dude. Psycho Circus is not a bad KISS album, for what it is i dig it. Tho i respectfully disagree with u on I Finally Found My Way. To me it sounds like Beth part two. And I like Paul's backing vocals with Peters. Constrictor is a classic 80s masterpiece. nuff said. Killer albums And adorable cat man.

I'm thinking you and I have a similar wavelength for a certain vibe since you put Highway to Hell as your fave ACDC album and here call Constrictor mighty. I love the og group and many of his solo albums, but this is not only my fave by him, but a top 5 fave album of all time. It's the perfect mix of catchy hooks, well constructed songs, great vocal refrains, cool lyrics, attitude, and a great mix between the instruments. It's just a feelgood album that epitomizes so much about the 80s for me. Obviously Ezrin had a huge role in its overral greatness. I like much of Raise Your Fist and Yell, but would have preferred Ezrin to have assisted with that one in keeping the quality in line with what they accomplished here. Perfect album. And all the hungry outlaws are waiting for their chance! Yeah, they did Teenage Frankenstein and Man Behind the Mask with Kane in Windsor ON last September, which was so great. In regards to Psycho Circus, first 3 songs are pretty great- the rest don't cut it for me, unfortunately.

It’s My Life was a great track! I wish they’d of included that, and taken off Finally Found My Way. Constrictor was ‘86 and Psycho ‘96, or there abouts, so comparison wise, they’re 10 years apart, otherwise totally fair review.

Love the Constrictor album and the tour for that album was incredible.

Hard to go wrong with Alice! Easy to go wrong with KISS. I really dig the first two tracks off Psycho Circus and am cool with two others. Overall, it's like Revenge but a different sound: KILLER opening with loads of promise followed by a jumbled up mess of inconsistency. Not so with Constrictor!

I saw Alice on that tour with Kane Rambo Roberts on guitar and raise your fist, was thumbing through the tour progs a while back was a cool show. I'm glad Rambo is back he is awesome live. Will miss Nita's booty though seriously saw her on the Paranormal tour she is a brilliant guitarist. Constrictor is an ok album all round and a good listen even if it's what I class the Alice cheesy phase it's great fun man. I lose interest with kiss after creatures but gutted I didn't get to see them in their heyday.

Alice was in Albany a couple weeks ago just chilling ✌️

Psycho Circus was more like.. Hey Guys, the reunion Tour is Kickin' Ass - Selling out dates everywhere. We need to add one more album with the original 4 members, so Gene, What do you got? Paul, What do you got? Let's just throw these tracks together and get it out there before one of the members fall off the band wagon or whatever.. Having these unknown musicians in the mix, Well, Typical Kiss stuff, If you look at Dynasty and Unmasked, That shit was going on then too (Spoiler Alert).. However, Enter the next album with the 4 Original members. They weren't looking to make a platinum album or anything like that, it was / is more of a memento of "Hey, We did the impossible. We Reunited, (which Gene and Paul said Time and Time that would never happen) Sold out shows everywhere, AND, even made a Kiss album." Cheers.!

Constrictor is the best Cooper record in my opinion...many would disagree but I grew up on it

Have you heard any of the Life and Crimes of Alice Cooper box set, released in the late 90's? It's got Hard Rock Summer from the Friday 6 soundtrack on it. The most interesting thing on it though is the original version of He's Back, which has the same lyrics but sung to the music of Trick Bag.

I Love Alice Cooper. IT sucks that Nita Strauss is now with Demi Lovato so Whyyyyyyy??? Kiss is my Favoriten band, the thing with psycho Circus is that Paul stanley is the only one WHO really plays on this record.

Love Alice but for me I don’t care much for Constrictor. Couple of decent tracks but overall just ok. Love the follow up RYFAY. Similar in style just much better. IMO. Loved Psycho Circus at that time. Now even before the info about Ace and Peter not playing on it I still liked it but not nearly as much that I did for the first few years. Title track, Within, Into the Void are my favs. Journey of 1,000 years took time to grow really like it now. Along with Read My Body and Bang Bang You as you said I Finally Found My Way is a HORRIBLE flaming piece of 💩!!! Man is that song an embarrassment

Peter Criss just doing a generic ballad...ugh. This was their comeback, he should have been tearing it up like Baby Driver or Hooligan.

I think psycho circus is not a great album , but not the worst kiss album. I think it could’ve been better with more ace and Peter involvement and input and they all should’ve had equal Involvement with this album and not had outside writers and no bullshit politics , and they should’ve back a few songs from the 70’s like doncha hesitate and definitely added it’s my life which is a great song that could’ve been a single from this album too. I think giving Peter a ballad that Paul wrote was bad as well he should’ve had a rocking tune like baby driver or Dirty livin

Psycho Circus 🎪 was complete bullshit. Can you imagine if Gene and Paul had the courage to let the original kISS members record that album. It could have been magical. They gambled and failed.
