The relationship between Luther and Alice is one of the most fascinating and mysterious I’ve ever seen on screen. It’s a perfect combination of love and hate which shows the ambiguous bond between the two and why it is bound to be dysfunctional for both of them.

I really FEEL this. These two were such polar opposites and could be considered archenemies when they first met (Let's not forget that Alice teased Luther to KISS her when he had the upper hand!), and over time they started to respect, collaborate with, learn to like, and -- HOPE TO GOD in this upcoming season -- LOVE each other! Luther and Alice bring out the best tension in any duo and this really makes me hope for them as a couple. Especially after the 4th season ended, it proved that Luther wanted to find Alice desperately and the previous season ("I wanted something...you.") proved that Alice really wants her man :) That song was amazing too, it really fits their dynamic! Luther probably needed a villain in his life and now that he's grappled with her, I think he's learning to legitimately love her. And Alice just the same with Luther; he's the hero that literally changed her life and possibly the only person in the world who can handle her inner darkness -- and she loves it. (I apologize for the long comment haha)

@@ninanapo511 She is beautiful. But if you're referring to her words, yeah she's very aggressive sometimes but that's just her character, she's the polar opposite of Luther. Mysteriously though they connect fairly well at times. I gotta catch up on the series

Alice. Something happens to me when I watch her. Her expressions are perfect. We all long for someone to look at us the way she looks at John. Lucky John.

Excellent video! They were perfect for each other. I believe for the first time in Alice’s life she felt love for someone. However, a malignant narcissist (Alice) and functioning sociopath (John) we’re doomed to fail...but I rooted for them!
