The way she said ' hum roz raat ko izzat beechte hai, saali khatamiz nahi hoti' and how immediately her eyes welled up and expressed the lingering sadness prevalent in her life was such an impeccable moment of acting. Alia really did imbibe the character of Ganga and gangu so well and she understood and expressed the raw emotions that the character was going through. She had a very confident and natural presence on the screen in Gangubai and was every bit the character of Gangubai.
