Michael Sweeney Its a double edge sword... Because they see you, and believe you’re not going to tip so they give you sub par service, and it turns into a self fulfilling prophecy) so as the customer you are pissed that you can see how they are treating and speaking to other customers and the speed of service for others so you as a customer reflect that in your tip, then they, the server get pissed because you tipped poorly, and they continue to think it’s because black people don’t tip well and they treat the next person of color poorly too.

@@DionneHunter that's the service people's fault to me. you don't pick and choose what service to give people, let alone the fact black people notice that shit and will not give you shit because of that. everyone experience is different, but ive never been to any spot, got excellent service and we didnt tip, its usually shitty service people are hesitant to tip for. its a dumb stereotype to me, because people are basically admitting they give other groups of people better service. if they flipped the script, and gave shitty service to everyone else, they'd get less tips from those people.

I feel like he used the chair for a lot more than just a hypothetical shopping cart. Prior to him standing up, he laid out the premise for the joke in a calm collected mood until he knew the audience understood where he was headed. Then he used a physical action(standing up from sitting) as a way to shift his tone in the narrative without the pace of the joke getting thrown off. The presentation of frustration was rehearsed and perfected.

I just find him hilarious ❤️ !!! The delivery is always 🔥. Also, I have worked in a fast food chain as a student (cash register / hostess) and I can not agree more !!! I did the orientation. I know how we're supposed to treat people. It is literally part of the job, so do the freaking job ! It absolutely blows my mind when the waiters can't bring themselves to smile or welcome you properly (same for cashiers), like, am I upsetting you by being a client to your workplace ? Did we fight without me noticing ?? So yeah, I hate the entitlement culture in the US. 'No but you HAVE to tip ! They don't make a lot' ... How do you know how much I make ? Does it mean it's fine to receive subpar service and REWARD it ? In the Netherlands, apparently people also EXPECT to be tipped because xy or z... But at least, some of the waiters actually try to be extra agreeable. In France, we tip if and when we feel like it. But never will a bad waiter or waitress see a tip. It's earned, not owed 😒

My grocery chain's training sucks. I'm that guy who doesn't know where anything is, but I also work in the seafood section, so I can't leave and peruse the store to study it all ( wouldn't matter if I did, memory sucks ), and I don't know anything about seafood because the management doesn't even know anything about seafood, so I've got to take it upon myself to learn on my own, and let me tell you all, I've never been a good learner. So it pisses me off when people are rude about me not knowing anything, when I can't even get any proper training and help. Plus, nothing's in a logical place. Put the damn almond and soy milk with the other milk! Why the hell not?

2:40, well at least he's observant and aware of his surrounding to notice at least the company name as well as the employee name to recognize that he's an employee there, because I'll have my name tag on with the company name, plus I'm doing stock and people will still ask me , " excuse me, do you work here?" I'm like....😕

Don't get mad man. Because there are ppl who don't work there and get mistaken cuz they have the same color shirt. Or they are turned and you can't see if there is a name tag. It's called being safe cuz damn I've seen ppl get embarrassed for assuming.

Even when I was a young teen looking like I hadn't reached puberty yet there was always a "Hello"/"Good day" and a "Have a nice day"/"Have a nice weekend" with a friendly tone in my country. Even children are treated with respect. I can't even imagine things being like he described happening here. xD

If you pack them wrong I’m gonna educate you than I’m gonna request they retrain you!!! That tipping issue so true if you don’t earn it, you’re not getting it, the bus person who did everything the service should have done trust me I looked for the bus person who gave me the service the server didn’t, I put the tip right in they hands don’t share nothing with them humph 😤

It's not about knowing exactly where everything is. It is about giving the effort to help the customer locate it. When I worked at Target and someone asked where something is we had radios to ask other team members or team leads where something is. Or we had PDA's to look up the item and tell the customer where it is. Just telling the customer "I don't know" is unacceptable. If you hate your job and don't care about it then get another job. Nobody is making you work there.

This is real!!...I went to Walmart a while back and I just wanted to go in and get out quick!..I had to get a few odd things I knew I couldn't find fast...then I passed the flower and planting department right next to the dog food,I saw two gentleman unloading merchandise and I asked "can you help me find a 5 gallon bucket, mice traps?", I already knew where the dog food was. And he stopped what he was doing and found it in less than 5 minutes....he was very professional and I offered to give him 20 bucks and he didn't take it!...thank you Sir for your service!

He is sooooo right!! 💯💯 I HATE the kind of customer service that people are considering acceptable! I’m a server and I KNOW without a doubt that if I give crappy service, I’m NOT PAYING MY BILLS! Lol Unfortunately, not all customer service workers live off tips, maybe more of them should and just maybe they’d give better service! Walmart and McDonald’s are the worst!! I actually had a shift manager tell me to google the customer service number because she didn’t know it. Well, I didn’t expect her to actually know the number, but what I did expect was her to make an effort to see what my problem was to begin with, maybe she could’ve fixed it without me calling the higher ups, but nope… She didn’t even take the time to even pretend to care, she just said that she didn’t know it or where it was so I should just google it. 😂💀
