A very interesting rock! Must go looking for an update.

i have one rock with these little web of glazed bumps. the crust is not the usual burned fusion but a coating of a glassy "net". over a granular surface. i have a feeling its a meteorite because the inside composition is weird as well kinda blu light teal green

actually i believe they have reverse polarity ,i can say this cause i have 3 sitting right in front of me.weighing 108 gram 110 grams and i have not weighed this last one yet.

@yakomuto they look more petrified,about it.

it has polarity but is not magnetic,and the polarity seems like it is moving around.really weird to me.i actually think i have 4. 1 is green,1 is red,1 looks something like calcite,with the outer layer of a meteorite,and the other has outer layer,with the shinny smooth center.i found all these in arkansas.

Since Mars has less mass than Earth, the surface gravity on Mars is less than the surface gravity on Earth. The surface gravity on Mars is only about 38% of the surface gravity on Earth, so if you weigh 100 pounds on Earth, you would weigh only 38 pounds on Mars. That said, how does a rock of any size leave the surface of Mar's? Think about it!

yakomutto ...you mean "excited". And, this is the point; it WASN'T about E.T. life. The idiotic, American media, except for some newspapers w/intelligent staff, like the NEW YORK TIMES, who have a fabulous staff of science writers & seemingly didn't jump into the fray of ignorant slobs writing retarded stories & wrongheaded cartoons, implying that NASA had said anything about there being "life on Mars"; they only reported on what was found on this meteorite & the minerals, molecules, etc. that had been discovered on it. Luckily, as often happens, truth will out & it has turned out that those involved with the discovery & research, etc. of this meteorite & the info they gleaned from it, were shown to be correct all along. But, as for "exciting" ...no, I don't think it was "exciting" at all. In fact, the thing was so dry, so dull, so boring that I just tuned out after about 20 minutes or so. Reminded me of this duller-than-dirt math teacher I had back in school!! Almost every day I'd end up falling asleep in his class because he was so damn boring!

Extraterrestrial life? Nope not yet

THIS SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF WORK AND STUDY JUST TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS LIFE IN OTHER PLACES, does logic not do it for them? Do we have to be so scientific about is their life other places? I can promise that there is life in other places because pure LOGICS tells me so.
