Hey everyone! Thank you for watching the new video in my new series! I hope I’ve been able to help you understand what are the differences and benefits of Algorithmic Trading vs Discretionary Trading. As usual if you ever need help with anything please do feel to reach out!
Thanks Milan - really enjoying the algo series you've put together for the channel!
Great video. Thanks
Brilliant video! Very interesting learning about algo trading from you 🤔 I think a course on this would be a great addition to Amplify training for those who would like to learn more on this subject 🧐 👍

Hey Tom - we currently do on our summer internship programme as we often get a lot of computer science students but feel free to @ Milan in the Amplify chat channel if you have specific questions. I'm sure he's happy to help and if we get enough questions then perhaps he could run a session for you all.
now i fear to decide should i become algo trader or non algo trader
Hi Milandeep - have you or the team looked into IPDA? (interbank price delivery algorithm)

Thank you for the comment Angela, I am not too familiar with IPDA. Would you be able to share some more information on the topic?

@@MilandeepBassi Yes, sure - applies predominantly in FX space; you might be more familiar with related terms like: central bank market maker models, institutional order flow or smart money concepts, etc... First off: I'm not very techy and am probably barely scratching the surface, so I really envy and admire your skills. In my attempts to delve deeper into the inner workings of market psychology and price behaviour; the mechanics of price action and patterns, to find actionable, reliable trading opportunities and edge, I've been studying work by Wyckhoff,school.stockcharts.com/doku.php?id=market_analysis:the_wyckoff_method#accumulationwyckoff_events), Chris Lori, (kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZqKq0Lp6dKTFhto.html, kzread.info/dash/bejne/enuGy7VmpqnRmKw.html), ICT (kzread.infoplaylists), Larry Williams among others, to try and better understand the price delivery algorithms and market maker models; most notably those used by large banks.. that have the biggest influence on price. So far, I have found a few profitable set ups that repeat often, like these: eg: take a look at USD/CAD algorithmic driven pa. today....where one can not only anticipate the set up, but accurately project the target in advance too. (also: gold, cable, cad/jpy.......) Where's the best space to chat and/or send over what info I have for you to review/explore?

@@MilandeepBassi Here are typical examples of the algorithmic nature, recognisable signature and footprint, price action and tradable patterns created, that I'm scrutinising of late: www.tradingview.com/x/eHaKPBu7/ www.tradingview.com/x/RoLh7p4r/ Notable is how time, price and volume come together as catalysts; usually around US or London open....
Dont you think system/algorithmic trading can be backtested and you know that you have edge over the long term?
is that bed where the action happens? lol
