Algonquin summit backpacking trip
On this trip I leave the ADK LOJ and do 13 mile loop through scenic avalanche pass, avalanche lake, Lake Colden and the summit of the second highest mountain in New York. There were many waterfalls, alpine flowers , wildlife, and scenic views for as far as the eye can see!!!!! I hope you enjoy it!!!

Awesome hike the Adirondacks always make for a great time in the woods. In '22 my wife and I backpacked the same route just going the other way.

My wife did not do good lol…. But was definitely fun … and me and my son were loving it…. I had to go back from the LOJ hike in 1.5 miles an hour after finishing and carry her stuff back …..
