Algebra - Solving Systems of Equations - Elimination Method
To "eliminate" may make you think of the Terminator, like one student comically did in this class. But in Algebra, it's a method of solving two or more equations at the same time. (The other method is called "the substitution method"), available in our Algebra 2 videos. So stop your Terminator violent thoughts and enjoy this video... which is the first one we ever filmed! +Nina ofyobuisness Is it sad how most Algebra 2 teachers are like I don't wanna repeat myself or teach, or the way they teach is way too fast or incoherent. It forces a lot of us to find other teachers and tutors to actually help us. Why are most math teachers like that?

Hmm I'm a 36 y/o mother (imagine the stress of "not getting it" and trying to help your child with it AND having to pass it yourself) and having to take this course in college as a "pr" and I have to say: If you would have been my math teacher there is absolutely NO WAY I wouldn't NOT get it. (does that make sense??) lol I never "got it" in HS - and was struggling with it now. Thank you!! These "hacks" make more sense. Kids - pay attention!! This is a GOOD teacher - nope. GREAT teacher.
He is amazing with kids. This is great! There needs to be more people in the world like this!
I'm currently in 8th grade , and I'm in advanced math ( Algebra 1 ) , and this video helped me out so much ! You definitely answered the questions I was unwilling to ask my actual teacher 😂😅. I love that you include your students in your videos -- that really helps me , because they have similar questions , to the ones I have . Thank you so much for making this video , and creating this channel ! Very helpful 🙌🏻

When I say you're awesome, I'm not using the term loosely. I had a quiz on this a week ago and scored an 80%! Without you I would have had a low D or an F. I'm here again because I had a test today and didn't remember what to do for system of equations, I remembered elimination method because I watched your last video, but substitution didn't ring a bell! If I get more time to finish the test, I will be fine, all because of your help, might be an older video but the information here is priceless! Thank you so much

I am so happy that I came across your videos. Haven't had to do algebra in about 30 years, but I have to now so I can work towards my degree in psychology. I so enjoy the way you explain the process. You make it so much more easy to understand, as opposed to the textbook. As a matter of fact, you remind me very much of my French teacher in junior high, she was that good. I'm sure I'll be reviewing more videos going forward.

after school always just remember the title of the lesson and look it up here because my teacher explains it weird and i feel if i ask a question my friends will laugh and teacher just face palm and says pay attention and in my head i say all i have doing is paying attention just that you explain it weird
I wish he was my math teacher..if he was I would have understood this concept a long time ago because my teacher only confused me
Very helpful. Haven't had math class in man years I needed a quick refresh.
You sir have made my day! That first problem was my problem on my homework. I got very stomped when youtubers tried to explain, but noting worked. This was an easier/simpler way for my to understand. Thanks

oh my god thank you so much!!! my math teacher only shows the class how to do one problem and then the next day we have a quiz and the questions on the quiz are ones we have even learned!! so thank you for this!!
What grade are you teaching? i wish you were my math teacher, shes horrible at explaining, and when we ask to slow down she denies our request and keeps going at her own speed. Why doesnt she understand, when the whole class fails the test, its that we dont understand, and she shouldnt move on?
