Ningún video puede hacer justicia a lo que significó Di Stéfano para el fútbol. Sólo viendo varios partidos completos puede uno apreciar parte de su enorme grandeza. Fue el primer jugador total, el primero en jugar asombrosamente bien en todas las posiciones, el futbolista que convirtió el fútbol en algo cinematográfico, dejando de ser fotográfico (cuando cada jugador no se movía de su demarcación). Era un 10 que se movía en toda cancha, casi siempre jugando a uno o dos toques, con una tremenda capacidad goleadora, de creación y arquitectura del juego (porque todo el juego del Madrid arrancaba en él) y que, además, ejercía una impresionante colaboración en el apartado defensivo. Los que critican y dicen que les parece un futbolista vulgar no entienden absolutamente nada de este juego, ni de su evolución. No es casualidad que monstruos del fútbol como Charlton, Luis Suárez, Eusebio, Puskas, Mazzola y tantos otros dijeran de él que fue el futbolista más completo y valiente que vieron jamás. @@Tobi-ix6fy Hay una jugada relatada por varios testigos, compañeros y público, que ilustra bien de qué era capaz Di Stéfano: bajo el arco propio paró, sobre la línea, la pelota que entraba, salió tocando desde el área y armó el contragolpe por toda la cancha, hasta rematar finalmente en el arco contrario y marcar el gol. Esta jugada la contó Domínguez, el arquero del Real en los años 50, y a mí personalmente un aficionado que estaba en la grada. Esa jugada no la hicieron ni Pelé, ni Cruyff, ni Diego, ni Messi ni nadie más. Un portento que atacaba y defendía, que jugaba a uno o dos toques, rapidísimo y goleador. Uno que lo vio jugar bien, periodista y muy entendido del fútbol, Julio César Iglesias, lo definió perfectamente: "cuando los rivales enfrentaban al Madrid de Di Stéfano se encontraban frente a un goleador implacable, un trescuartista extraordinario, un mediocentro muy bueno y a un defensa al que nadie esperaba. Aquel Madrid no jugaba con 11: jugar con Di Stéfano era hacerlo con 14 futbolistas en la cancha".

@@moldbug4089 Nunca ha dejado de ser uno de los mejores de la historia. De Kane tenía más bien poco, salvo la facilidad goleadora, lo suyo era más bien como trescuartista y todocampista con mucha llegada al arco, que es lo que le diferenciaba de Maradona y Cruyff, también enganches pero con mucho mejor uno contra uno del que tenía Alfredo. Respecto a los grandes jugadores del pasado siempre he pensado que hoy lo harían incluso mejor que en su época: Maradona no sufriría las patadas criminales que sufrió en su tiempo, y su influencia en ataque sería mayor; a Di Stéfano se le valoraría más en este fútbol totalizador de ahora; y Pelé no tendría precio con su repertorio inmenso ante estas defensas a las que se les prohíbe cualquier agarroncito. Alfredo...¡amigo querido! Lo que dice Puskas es exacto, fuiste el mejor. Para mí, el más completo de la historia. Verte aquí me dio placer. Corrias igual que Messi y tu entrenamiento eran unos saltitos y corridas. ¡Si te hubieras entrenado como Messi, con máquinas, bicicletas, fierros y mucho más! Y jugabas con pelota pesada, sin tarjetas, saltando patadas y haciendo esos goles de taco, de bajo o de alto, que nunca habían visto en Europa. Si, me lo dijo Joselito u otro, que llevaste el taco y el caño (allá le dicen túnel) a Europa, nadie los conocía. Saeta Rubia, con 793 partidos y 728 goles más o menos. Además, fuiste el más inteligente para armar un equipo desde atrás, desde tu arco, llegar al otro ¡y a veces hacer el gol! Te morfabas la cancha. Les ordenabas a tus compañeros con gritos o señalabas en silencio, y asi diste como 1000 asistencias. Eras un rey para engañar con tus fintas. Gran informe. Respecto a Pelé, hay disconformidad. Pelé tenía una visión cinestésica, es decir, la combinación del posicionamiento de sus compañeros en el campo y sus posibles desplazamientos, sin mirar. Solo mira una vez. Pelé dominó todos los fundamentos y habilidades del juego con excelencia, hizo todo bien y fue total. Lo siento, pero Pelé era mucho más rápido que Di Stéfano y la habilidad de Pelé para disparar con ambas piernas es incomparable, Pelé incluso cometió faltas y penales, condujo, regateó con ambas piernas. Di Stéfano, La Saeta, I've never seen him as I was born in the seventies. But nevertheless, seeing the images on film, he had ultimate dribbling, passing, recovering and scoring skills. What made him apart was the fact that one moment he was defending, then assisting on the midfield and then scoring all the while running 1-100 meters in 10 seconds in the same minute. My grandfather was a Betis fan and he told me once me that he almost always sh*t his pants when Real Madrid came to visit a Betis Sevilla game against Di Stefano. That's why the second, smallest stadium of Real Madrid is called after him. He's a real Real Madrid legend in his own right. Normally a stadium in Spain which is built by a president in its time is called after him, but Florentino Pérez, in his usual elegance, he decided otherwise. God bless him and Alfredo.

@@HA-ug4qu Cruyff was a ball boy in the European Final that took place in Amsterdam in 1962 between Real Madrid and Benfica. Watching Di Stefano playing that day Cruyff understood very well the type of football he would like to play, and 12 years later we saw his evolution in Netherlands 1974.

1agent0 ma non diciamo cazzate. Questi sono brocchi rispetto ai campioni di oggi! Il problema é che la gente oggi va dietro alle cazzate che sparano i giornalisti e ai vari Maradona e Pele. Sto di Stefano fino a poco tempo fa lo conoscevo solo di nome, come uno dei più grandi di sempre, Maradona lo ha definito anche meglio di cristiano ronaldo. Per curiosità vengo a vedere questo video e devo dire che Maradona avrà pippato troppa coca per sparare una cazzata simile. Sto di Stefano paragonato a cristiano è un brocco. Se poi avete le banane agli occhi non so cosa dirvi, curatevi tutti quanti!

Il mio mito d'attacco è Van Basten (e con le marcature degli anni '80 col cazzo che Ronaldo o Messi avrebbero fatto sta caterva di gol), ma non mi permetterei mai di paragonare Van Basten a Di Stefano. Secondo il tuo "argomento" (ho pietà), Eisenhower sarebbe stato un generale migliore di Alessandro Magno perché il primo aveva i cannoni e questo le lance. Di Stéfano was not a dribbler, he could do dribbling sometines, but not as much as Messi or Maradona. He was an all around player very similar to Zidane, playing in one or two touches every time. @Alexis ayala Se nota que no viste el verdadero futbol, muchos paises marginales y virgos vinieron a conocer el futbol asta los 90s con la llegada del internet abierto, ven 3 videos blanco y negro en paginas de videos y ya se creen expertos, cuando jamas vieron en vivo el futbol tan fantastico que existia antes.

Con la supuesta preparacion que desis de hoy estos jugadores ya no seian leyendas, serian simples jugadores buenos y nada mas, son 100 de historia y la historia de cualquier deporte se respeta

@@carlosalbertosilva2003 Eres un completo ignorante, las imágenes del vídeo son casi todas del Real Madrid, aunque hay sorprendentemente un par de fragmentos de River Plate... cuando Di Stefano llega al Real tiene 30 años más o menos, no es el jugador rápido que jugaba de extremo o wing. El mismo decide que tiene que jugar de delantero centro, y que va a jugar por todo el campo como su maestro Adolfo Pedernera... así que en los partidos bajaba hasta la defensa propia y sacaba el balón él, que era el delantero. Eso no lo ha hecho nadie menos Cruyff porque le copió. Di Stefano cambió el fútbol europeo de arriba a abajo... Y naturalmente uno no se pone a gambetear en campo propio, como no sabes de fútbol esto lo ignoras. Di Stefano jugaba a fútbol, no era un artista del circo, su mentalidad era tocarla en uno o dos toques la pelota, rápido y preciso, y lanzarse a la portería contraria, eso es el fútbol... las gambetas te las quedas tú para las payasadas del fútbol moderno, donde no se tocan y se pasan la vida pisando la pelota como si fuera futsal. Já vi gente comentando isso. Sinceramente, com toda a sinceridade mesmo de alguém que viu Zidane jogar bastante e procura imagens desse argentino há tempos, é um insulto à magia de Zizou compará-lo a Di Stefano. na verdade, uma superestimação da habilidade de Di Stefano.

@@JulioLeonFandinho Zidane talvez defendesse menos e marcou menos gols, mas era muito mais habilidoso e mais criativo do que Di Stefano. Esse argentino não dá nem pro começo. Zidane era magia pura e executava movimentos extremamente complexos. não dá pra comparar.

@@JulioLeonFandinho Hahahahahahaa Cadê as pedaladas que Zidane dava? Onde estão os roulettes? Onde estão as croquetas? Os controles dirigidos mágicos? Onde estão os sombreros fantásticos? A quase ambidestria? Os frequentes toques de efeito? O footwork extremamente criativo, com movimentos difíceis de descrever? Onde estão os improvisos típicos de Zizou? Eu não vi nada aí que qualquer jogador de meio-campo muito bom hoje não possa fazer. Eu mesmo sou capaz de fazer muitas dessas coisas quando estou com ritmo e em boa forma jogando amadoramente. nada de muito especial aí. Se ele fez coisas fantásticas, elas não foram mostradas nesse vídeo. Aliás, eu já procurei muito por imagens desse jogador, e nunca o vi fazer o extraordinário acontecer em campo.

@@trqsh463 As a goal scorer, Puskas was in a league of his own. But he was not nearly the master of ball control as was Di Stefano. Di Stefano was the complete player; He could play almost anywhere, even registering a clean sheet playing goal-keeper early in his professional career. The only position Di Stefano was not comfortable playing was wing.

La diferencia es que Di Stéfano lo hacía hace setenta años, cuando nadie lo hacía entonces. Ver imágenes de un tipo jugando al fútbol con los ojos de un millenial de 2021 es un absurdo que no lleva a enterarse de nada

Un adelantado a su tiempo, es cierto que lo ponias a jugar ahora y no hace tanto si hiciese lo mismo que en aquella epoca, pero mientras el jugaba los futbolistas no se cuidaban como ahora, el futbol era mas novato y no se sabian muchas cosas que se saben ahora. Por gente como Di Stefano el futbol es como es hoy en dia y por eso son leyendas
