9:12 When Kwa says "i can hear it", Alfred has a fright because he thinks Kwa is talking about his heartbeat (Alfred was blushing at Winnie in that moment)

This episode and the one where he lands in cape town were my first introduction to the evils of apartheid as a child in Kenya.

Well, since Alfred J. Kwak was made in Japan, it has become clear that it is officially an anime.

Maybe something else would be better for a history lesson in school. But I think it was pretty ahead of their time for them to have a plot point like this in a children's show

I like that every time there is a Steam locomotive in Alfred J. Kwak it resembles a Danish DSB Class P locomotive.
