This is one of the most misunderstood songs. The man was explaining to the mother that his loss of weight was not as a result of AIDS but heartbreak by a lady with light tone legs and white eyes called Maggie.

Tu kafwafye kumanga te kuli AIDS. Believe me or not, I used to know Maggie who Alfred sang about. I might argue on her behalf that she was a very beautiful girl .I used to know Alfred personally as well as his girl Maggie back in 1986. To you youngies, you've no idea how the 80's used to be. Most of the masasu band members, mulemena, and Alfred Chisala Kalusha were friends I used to know back when the world was young.

This song is taking me some where else. Where my wife left me to other guy, i really loved her because she was the mother to my children. Im very disappointed that i'll never forget in my whole life

This is real Zambian music. It made our country stand out to be different from other countries music. I still find it difficult to listen to modern Zambian music, but these old ones are fire. They always remind me of Dr Zambia Isaac Mulinda the late.

I imagine what would be if all these artists were alive and appreciated.

......great legends who were able to blend the kind of instruments of their time so well such that if they were alive in the midst of modern music instruments, one wonders the kind of music they would have been produced.
