Papua is one of the most beautiful land in Indonesia. I personally can say that Papua is still vastly untouched - rich with natural resources, varieties of unique animals, paradise for exotic birds, and crystal clear waters (of course the marine bio-diversity includes). Papua with an area full of diverse cultures & biological diversity, its rainforest & mountains are inhabited by indigenous Melanesian tribes - they have tree kangaroos 😊. 75% of the region is forest which has a high degree of biodiversity - about 16,000 species of plants, 70 marsupial species, 180 other mammal species (the only part of Indonesia that has kangaroos, wallabies, marsupial mice, bandicoots, and ring-tailed possums), 700 bird species (check out the Cassowaries bird, bowerbirds) which about 450 of the bird species are endemic species, 800 species of spiders, 200 of frogs, 30,000 of beetles, and 70 of bats + one of the world’s longest lizards (the Papuan Monitor) and some of the world’s largest butterflies. With all those richness, especially of the rainforest, Papua is considered as one of the world’s “FOREST LUNGS” because of the effect of its vast rainforest to reduce the carbon emissions. The region is predominantly covered with rainforest where our traditional tribe lives. And, be ready, in this region alone, there are estimated about 200-over 700 of local languages. The predominant official religion is Christianity, followed by Islam. The capital of Papua is JAYAPURA (in Sanskrit language means “City of Victory”.

Do you think Indonesia is an Islamic country, you are wrong sir, we in Indonesia adhere to BINEKA TUNGGAL IKA i.e. different but one national, Indonesia is a country that can unite 6 religions at once, other countries cannot be like Indonesia for this 😁 That is the beauty of the difference religion and culture in Indonesia, if you see that eastern Indonesia is the majority of people of Hindus, Christians and Catholics What you see is that Papua eastern Indonesians are black people, they still preserve the beauty culture and every region in Indonesia still preserves culture is amazing isn't it?
