Just wanted to say thanks for the vid. It gave me the confidence to change the sparks and coil packs on my 2004 166 3.2 which is basically the same but with the ecu and wiring to contend with. The rough idle is gone. Really appreciate it. Thanks from 🇨🇭

Debdencycle yes it really does. I was surprised that I found so much dirt in the spark plug holes and in 2 of them lots of water. Anyway it all went well and my car is running much nicer now 👌

Oh wow, what a fantastic video. I can see you did this a few years ago..... please come back and do more, so good! Your Busso engine looks immaculate, clearly extremely well cared for, love the detailing as well. It is a real pleasure to watch a really competent person at work and your tips are so useful. More videos please

Excellent step through. As you made perfectly obvious not a very difficult job even for a hobby mechanic. How the garages charge what they do for this job is a tad on the expensive side, that's why some will tell you is a difficult job. Just a few correct tools and with your tips makes it very straight forward. Great job, Thanks

electrical tape on the extension... my first spark plug change took 3 days and one inoperable vehicle during those 3 days. I HATED myself. I actually undid the spark plug with the extension; ripped the rubber inside out and used a magnet to hold the SP in untill it's threaded correctly. electrical tape on the extension...

Hi Brian I'd like you to help me with an ODB apparel alfa romeo compliance issue. Indeed, I own a 166 V6 from April 2000 ( bought in Switzerland). I have a motor issue, for which I have the indicator in the panel of the car lightened. Looks to me that it is an injector related issue (by the weird behavior of the car...). I've bought different aftermarket ODB devices in order to read the issue, but I find no compliant apparel with my car protocols.... Would you know by any chance if there is an ODB device available in the market that might fit my car? Obviously, I'd like to avoid buying an hyper expensive thing. Thanks a lot in advance and congrats for the nice and clear videos you perform. Cheers. Luis

Not a cup. "Standard" if there is such a thing with a V6 Alfa. Obviously the paint work was done by myself, I had the chrome redone a year ago and that's it.
