thanks for the speedy reply :) Was the custom backbox / custom centre silencer / unsilenced centre pipe all made locally by powerflow for you? I totally agree with you that it needs two silencers in the system.. Does the standard backbox count as a silencer? i.e. would this work. - the OEM backbox > unsilenced centre section > OEM main cats > cf2's? Or is that only 1 silencer (the main cats) ? I don't want to fit a standard OEM catback, and find it's now too quiet :) thats my only worry.

Hi, the exhaust setup is like this: CF2 manifolds -> Equal length downpipes -> Huge (as big as it fits) custom centre silencer -> Unsilenced centre pipe -> Custom backbox. You definitely need to use at least 2 silencers if you install cf2 manifolds; otherwise it's to loud and it rattles.

@@AlfaGTA156 Thank you! The car had all cats removed. Yes, the centre ones were replaced by a centre silencer. I think this is the best setup for the car. For a while I also ran it with no silencers at all, straight pipe from engine to outside. It was borderline painful, earplugs mandatory.

@@scociuu ok. Probably the nicest sounding gta I’ve heard. No sharpness or harsh rasp, just a deep offbeat v6 rumble. Is this a longlife exhaust? Want a similar set up. I have cf2, but just replaced equal length with stainless unequal as it was scraping all the time. Then mid cats to be mot friendly and then silenced centre and stock rear silencer. Want to replace with stainless cat back but not sure where to go. Don’t want the wizard as it’s too loud and raspy.

Hi, so basically you replaced the mid cats with a muffler? Or a resonator? Do you know/remember what it specifically was? There are about 5 different types of muffler from straight through to chambered - any info you could provide would be amazing! Sorry sometimes exhaust terminology changes country to country - you call a backbox what we call a rear muffler!

Camera is mentioned in the video's description. Gearbox is manual :)

Hi mate, a quick question - Did you have the powerflow exhaust made up custom.. in your country.. or did you buy it from the UK or something to a general specification? I have a wizard at the moment, and getting cf2's installed, and I dont; think they are compatible (too much rattle etc). Do you have a silenced centre section here? Or unsilenced? I'm tempted to get an OEM backbox, and an unsilenced ragazzon centre pipe to connect to the cats... so hard to know what wil be best though! :)

No, not by powerflow. Actually they were made locally by an uk based company: topgear.co.uk The backbox is a silencer, yes.

thank you for the information .. not sure why I thought it was a powerflow, I must have read it on another video and got confused ! I won't be doing a full decat.. but I might ask them the cost for a centre pipe & backbox. Yours sounds very nice indeed.. without any nasty noises. Does it sound good from cold? At the moment, mine can sound broken when cold, for the first few minutes.
