This program moves me to tears, even this long removed from it. I miss this man in figure skting. Hell, Figure Skating itself misses this man-his artistry, his athleticism, his guts and his integrity. Lysacek thinks he can do footwork-he doesn't even know what that is compared to yagudin. This program and his "Winter" SP is a clinic in a total program for skaters, and a Master Class in footowork. No one has reached the level this man had here. And it is unlikely they ever will, with the new IJS.

Alex is our treasure, as well as Plushenko. They're just different in style of skating : Zhenya more elegant and stable in jumpsх and Alex incomparable in their lanes steps and the manifestation of the soul in its programmes.

Леша наше сокровище, также как и Плющенко. Просто они разные по стилю катания : Женя более изящен и стабилен в прыжках, а Леша бесподобен в своих дорожках шагов и проявлении души в катании.

Yes, he does, jealous Plushenko fan. I'm sorry to break it to you but Plushy never became a complete skater, not only artistic-wise, but even technically. His footwork was nonexistent comparing to Yagudin's, his spin was never as good either.
