depuis assez longtemps déjà à Aruba et Curuçao c'est déjà un peu le cas il y a des groupes qui mélangent zouk konpa et salsa c'est vraiment pas mal ! Mais j'ai une préférence pr le son d'Alex CKJ qd même

I’m Haitian-Cuban but I’m not a huge fan of Kompa like the rest of my family is but this mix threw an explosion of both of my cultures into my face, and I loved it!

In my town in Haiti, a very top mechanic with his daughter and wife lived 2 streets away from my home, and I found out he was Cuban after he passed away. the whole time I thought he was Haitian. the whole town misses him

Honnêtement je l’attendais et je suis vraiment pas déçu ! Mélanger le kompa à la salsa fallait y penser, ça donne des rythmes différents des autres kompa qui se ressemblent tous a force. T’es un génie mec 🔥

OMG - you can't touch this. Aye-yai-yai, Papa Oui, this is soooo good. I can't sit still. I'm dancing around my living room, like a "loon". ..but I don't care. I love it!!! These 2x genres are easily my favourite types of music, Love Konpa, Zouk, Soca, Soukous, Reggaeton, Afrobeats and basically, anything that's Latin with a good beat from the diaspora :-) Big up the Caribbean, especially the Winward Islands where my folks are from :-) Music breaks down boundaries and unifies, in the same way that food does xxx Appreciation for sure xxx. Oh yeah, I'm obsessed with Kompa Gouyad right now. But I think I'm just in love with how great salsa sounds with kompa. I think it just really works together and would be great as it's own genre of kompa/music.
