Yes!!! When I heard it I was like: „Wait... omg was that a lisp??“ 😍 fell instantly in love with her

She is one of the best singers-songwriters of this generation. I always feel so upset and angry when such artists don't get the recognition they deserve

I also couldn't make her shows on 6/28, 11/19 but I caught her on 2/15 at The Pico Union Project. Great show, she seemed very shy on stage.

The influence of Arctic Monkeys always shows and it’s never a bad thing. This is evening music for a drive or a walk. So sentimental and dreamlike. Just love the reverb and tremelo. She’s and her band mates are so well knit.

That snare sound is boss. kudos to the sound engineer.

When she sang "happiness" in the first song her eyes looked so sad.

The band is very sensitive to the songs. Very good playing. Mel also adds just the right contrast. She’s a great player. Her violin bits and lead guitar bits are extraordinary.

ikr it made me sad that so many people thought she had been eclipsed by Alex Turner in her debut. I think it is a masterpiece that could only be made possible by both geniuses.

Soft currents sounds like something Richard Harley would write, lovely song !

That rift at 8:16 is a really dope touch. Song morphs for a second like something from Ghost. Great work Alex!
