iam glad to now the people is reserching the history of ilia , he is not a main striker , he is amazing , but his ground is westling. He is not dumb, if he fight max, he probably gonna exchange some strikes to know what max got , but if want to finish the fight , he go to grappling, max cant do much in the floor. i think o malley was the same , but he do some bbj competitions , so i think he have a bit more chances. Anyway , i think ilia cut max a sean heads

The punch Ilia landed on Volk would have put out most people. This wasn't an example of his chin being cracked, this is an example of a guy who has never had the best chin being hit with a clean shot. Volk did get hit with some other shots in the fight, one or two big ones if I remember correctly, and they had an impact but he was fine.

8:00 volk was not better Ilia was timing him and hunting him like a lion and he didn’t get caught with his chin up buddy he got caught tryna go to his left and Ilia stepped to the right ( like a boxer ) blocked his movement and wam hit him with the Sleeper 💤 then a left hook. He basically watched Volk the whole first round then ate him up the second

I like seeing the training clips, some of the strength training methods are interesting.

Topuria is super skilled are you nuts? He was the aggressor. He was making Volk throw just to time him. Also that was a much more crushing KO tip of the chin didn't see it coming lights out for a couple minutes. That would have dropped a middle weight. Punches that accurate flip a switch. He'll beat Max too Its time for some new fighters to get a chance. Topuria is a PROBLEM for any one.

Max puts on a master class against Ilia. Volk takes chances going in, and counters more so than moving forward against strikers. Max moves around too much to get caught like Volk did. Max beats Ilia via UD. He’ll get touched but will make ilia look like a heavy bag with legs

So The guy who slept Volk who is 3-0 against Max and especially made him look like a child in the 3rd will loose to the pillow had opponent against whom Ilia is younger, way stronger and way better grappler and wrestler... Yes man cope with reality and make another take. If max won't end up like Ferguson after unnecessary Justin fight he most likely will become a vegetable after Topuria when they face of sadly... I like Max and Volk was my one of the most favorite active fighters but... Life goes on.

I don't know why Volk didn't test Ilia's ground skills after feeling Ilia's power half way thru first round. Ilia has got a ground game but if Ortega can't close out a dead set submission hold on Volk, and Volk is laughing and clowning with Islam on his back, as well as taking Islam down...then Ilia isn't going to monster him on ground. And, if they are both drained by grappling, then 1. that may affect Ilia worse by taking the sting off his striking game and 2. Volk is a proven 5 round cardio monster.

Topuria will run through max. Sorry guys. His ground game is better than his stand up. And I believe he would be able to KO max.

I think max loses to Ilia 9/10 times but it is FACT that he's been smacked around by Dustin for 5 rounds and didn't go down, so saying Ilia TKO/KOs max is goofy. I'm willing to bet dustin hits a whole lot harder than Topuria. But topuria does exactly the same thing to max as volk did in their 2nd fight just disrupt the rythm with wrestling & land counters until he can string combinations
