Aleksandr Sergejevitsj Georgiejev (Russisch: Александр Сергеевич Георгиев) (Oblast Novgorod, 17 juli 1975) is een Internationaal Grootmeester dammen van Russische nationaliteit. Hij werd tien keer wereldkampioen.
De titel van 2006 werd Georgiejev op 23 februari 2007 toegekend nadat Tsjizjov zich terug had getrokken uit de match in 2006. Hij trok zich terug voor het wereldkampioenschap dammen in 2016, waardoor de tweekamp om de wereldtitel in dat jaar tussen de runners-up van 2015,Jan Groenendijk en Roel Boomstra kon worden gespeeld.
Georgiejev werd Russisch kampioen in 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 en 2012 en wereldkampioen bij de junioren in 1995 en 1996.
Georgiejev werd in 2005 officieus wereldkampioen blinddammen tijdens het gecombineerd blind- en rapidwereldkampioenschap in Schiedam.

best: black is pressed for time and will lose a queen due to force majeure because white is heading for 4 queens and with it the game! , there is no longer any rescue possible for black.
I want georgiev sir plz teach me something about this game specially champion level.
This 10x10 variation were men captures backwards is much more interesting than 8x8 ones, I wonder how it compares to the Canadian 12x12 tho.

The only 2 masters I know are Aymeric the Descallar and world champion Marcel Deslauriers who were also powerful over 12 x12 (these rules are also equal to 10x10)

I agree, the dynamics of the international draughts are much more complex which kakes it more exciting to play. I also play the 10x10 board rules in an 8x8 board. This rule is popular to our country.

at 5:33 . Rob gives up because he can no longer crown his pieces as king and therefore loses due to force majeure Example 1: 20-14 18x36 14-10 26-31 37x26 36-41 and disc 10 is lost aslook the game. Example 2: 20-14 18x36 37-31 26x37! 14-10 37-41 and 10 are poor since 10-5 41-46 and on 10-4 also 41-46 in both cases he loses his king example 3: 37-32 26x28 20-14 18-23 and white can give up.
in 5:33 Robb Clerc could have advance his past checker and make a king. I wonder why he resigned. can some one explain?
