This song reminds me of someone whom I met in an online dating app. For the very short time of chatting, talking about random things, it felt like we've already known each other for a long time. We were very happy, very close (although we're physically far from each other). But our story didn't end pretty good. I decided to cut everything that we had after finding out that he's dating. And now, we're both happy with our own lives though we're acting like strangers again. But despite of it all, he will always have a special place in my heart. This song really hits me hard. The lyrics convey what I'm feeling these past few years. It's like I'm waiting for that someone because I know he's there but sometimes I feel so lonely that I ask myself "what if you're not meant to meet him, not now, not ever" I get really heartbroken with that thought. This song is so perfect for the dream that I have few months ago. As I heard the whole song I was bursting into tears and I felt what I've felt back then when I have awoken from that certain dream in which there is a man who told me that finally he found me after so many years of waiting. He hugged me so tight while crying and as I saw him I also cried without no context but I just felt crying by that moment. After hugging and crying he kissed me in my forehead and told me that he will wait me again even for another lifetime no matter how long it takes and that he believe we will meet again at the right time so I don't need to worry about anything. He told me to continue upon reaching my dreams and wait for him. As he walked away from me after telling all that, I am suddenly awoken and seeing myself bursting into tears and my heart feels pain and longing. I don't know the man in my dream but in my heart, that short moment feels like eternity, it seems like I knew him for a very long time but I don't know him at all. I don't understand what is happening at that time but 5 months have passed and that dream is still crystal clear to me. Whenever I felt depressed I just listen to this song which I can relate so much because of that dream. And whenever I feel so down in this current times, he would appear again on my dreams giving me hug, comfort and advices in life and studies. Still wondering who he is but I am so blessed at the same time.
