By changing the style & tempo from bouncing club - disco that emotes enlightenment, joyful for freedom to find new love , by slowing the speed and changing the tempo- accentuating particular phrases on volume and holding long notes- emotes disappointment, loss, pain. Almost a ballad. Bravo. This girl will be a BLOCK BUSTER.

She performed a week ago Saturday night here in Colorado at the Wildflower Pavilion in Lyon’s, CO, where she’s from, and my wife and I and 3 friends went….and she brought Lennon Vanderdoes with her because they have struck up a friendship. They performed sets both individually and also did 3 duets together at the end. OH MY EFFING GOD!!! She was amazing!!!! But I tell you when those two sing together and harmonize….You go to heaven!!! Tears rolled from our eyes!!

When you know about technically of the voice or are a great musician as John Legend it explains why it bends down. We should understand the mastery of this performance. Its like when you hear a Mozart piece for non-pianist hard to understand how genius it is . The magic comes from a profound control trained over thousands of hours and gifted and bright way of understanding of music in general. It is absolutely One in a million vocal performance, never heard before from my entire life.

I mean she has been under the radar but the storytelling, the emotions, she just cuts right through - the clarity and subtle power in her voice too; the way she switched into full chest from a more subdued voice in the beginning. amazing. The best voice never wins because it comes down to the sponsors and Clueless voters. She may not be the most powerful but her range her Clarity and Purity is currently unmatched on this particular show

The things that sets Alexa apart is that she really inteprets songs in a songwriting style. She reminds me of Eva Cassidy and Mary Black. I wonder how she would sound singing something from Eva like "Fields of Gold" or from Mary like "Song for Ireland." But you know what I really like is how she takes this rocker song and interprets the lyrics in a melancholy style that makes you believe what she is saying.

Truly unbelievable. Recording agents should be signing her and release this song. I had a lump in my throat and couldn’t breathe when I heard this. My heart was about to explode. She made Chers song way better.

I think not many people had noticed the lyrics in "Believe" while dancing to it, i thought they were just generic and how alexa highlights the beauty in the lyrics of the songs she had performed like it is her own story... Alexa reminds me a lot of Sarah McLachlan when she was young. Her style and choices match almost identically. It’s so refreshing. I hope she goes far in the show.

I went to High School with Sarah McLaughlin and remember watching her play in small grubby dives in Halifax before she hit big… her voice is like no other-

I not so sure I am sad she is gone, she was given a lot of exposure on the Voice and will not be under contract. With that much talent I would bet she finds a great deal.

Alexa's version of this is just incredible. The way she sings it makes my eyes water every time. If you've ever been in love and lost them this is a song that hits you right in the feels.

One of the best performances in Voice History! Just flawless, every choice was better than the next! Since that battle Alexa has come into my top 5! Her voices hit you in your core. It just cuts through like a knife. It has such an ache, cry, and pain in her voice like no one else in the competition. That run she did on “love” was actually really wild! Her choices were ridiculous. The forced flip on “inside me say” that I one time was wild. Then, the run on “believe.” I could go on, but no reason. She is just a bona fide beast. Every time she performs it’s like she saying, look at me, I’m here to win! That was winning performance in my opinion! I need her album right now!!! So all three of these performances were absolutely insane for different reasons! The person that Niall didn’t pick or save had to get stolen right?!?!?

No there were no more saves or steals left, but the show ended with a cliffhanger about “changing the rules” so we’ll see what happens on Monday I guess.

God her voice is beautiful. I usually get really sick of this song but this was an absolutely stunning cover

The way she conveys the emotion of the lyrics is reminiscent of Jewel. A very rare talent. She will go far no matter the outcome of the show. I can’t wait to buy her record.

I fell in love with Adam Lambert’s performance of this song. I didn’t think it could get any better. But Alexa did it! This was perfection!!!! I will be buying her version for sure. Stunning! This knockout battle was by far the best. They were all perfect in their choices and performance!! It is a shame they didn’t have more steals and saves. Of course, they set it up for a call back, but none of these three deserved to go home!! Alexa was the clear winner, but the other two were phenomenal as well.
