I'm so glad she's doing so much better now, she's so much more confident now. It's so annoying how everyone has to compare her to her parents. She's her own person, and they're obviously both so proud of her.

She looks just like her dad "Billy Joel", but she's just as beautiful as her mom "Christie Brinkley". Instead of trying to be like either of them, she needs to try her own thing. If she likes music, awesome! She looks like she could also be a model, like her mother.

They really do look completely different but ...Gosh! Alexa is beautiful. Gorgeous and talented! I wish her well.

We need to stop caring about looks!

The album is awesome. She is extremely talented and incredibly gorgeous and has no reason to doubt her beauty and yet I can understand being under the pressures of your parents must be hard. I would say She is as talented as her father, but has her own sound and her own spunk. It's so fun and upbeat and yet some of the other music is inspiring for women that have gone through the same things she has. LOVING IT AWESOME!!!!!!! TAKE A LISTEN PEOPLE REALLY WORTH IT AND GO BUY THE CD IT'S WORTH IT REALLY. SUPPORT MUCISIANS BY PURCHASING THEIR MUSIC AND NOT DOWNLOADING PEOPLE IT'S BETTER THAT WAY. SHE DESERVES IT.:)

Who would have thought that a daughter looking like Billy Joel, with his unique look could be even more beautiful than Christy Brinkly when she was younger who was known as the beautiful woman. This girl has some of the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. Her face is just beautiful. Wow. And her father's talent for music. Jack pot girl!

Reading the comments here or on just about any thread on you tube makes me think how quiet it would be if everyone would see life for what it is and that everyone has their own journey instead of how they think it should be. I think it would be wonderful for a change.

You know, as lucky as she was to have the parents she did, it's definitely almost a curse. A gorgeous supermodel mom and a legend of an artist as a dad. Where do you start? how do you achieve without competing. Can't be easy.

She shouldn't try to sing/play piano OR be a model - both of which she's trying to do. Alexa should strike out on her town and find her own thing...for the best chance at personal success (the inherited money is a given).

@@leannemo7382 Her parents should have given this some thought and provided ideas beyond music and modeling. Like use money to start an animal sanctuary? Learn to cook/bake and open a restaurant or sell a product. Art. Fashion. Photography. Bring music education to underpriveleged school districts. Teach kindergarten. Study psychology. Run a rescue/adoption clinic. You get the idea, they should have steered her away from singing and modeling by providing ideas and opportunities. She was set up for failure because parents didn't make this a priority.

Besides beauty she is endearing and captivating. I could listen to her for hours. She feels like a sweet soul.

She took homeopathic pills which is basically trying to overdose on nothing. Aside from that point, don't ever lose yourself for anyone else.

Alot of female singer songwriters start with a feminine singing voice, but find a deeper raspy voice later in their careers. Joni Mitchell, Sam Phillips, PJ Harvey have an alter-ego where they sing in a lower tone almost manly. I hope Alexa finds that voice cause when I listen to her, she has a good singing voice, but it almost sounds Disney like.

BadMystique Oh she ranted in two super long messages with this crazy sense of entitlement and presumption and told me I should listen to her great father's (kitsch) lyrics about the angry young man because I was one- in her estimation. The thing is, at the time she was dressing up like a child would, imagining she was going to fit into the high fashion model category which was absurd and so she was wearing these crazy skin tight black-and-white numbers and posing with these facial expressions like some sort of crazed dominatrix. I personally don't care about any of that- IF you can pull it off... but instead of passing, again, she looked like a cross between a child playing dress up and a drag queen. It was silly, not successful. She has her own looks and could play into her own strengths and not only look great but also inspire others to feel confident that there are other kinds of beauty besides what's playing in the Hamptons, but I guess peer pressure there is too strong and so she was off re-shaping her eyebrows and wearing too much make up instead of defying the Hamptons scene which is what anyone with real self respect would do. And again, if you cant really pull something off perfectly, the closer you get to it the stupider you look trying. So I tried to tell her, in fewer words, to be her self. For that I was branded a sexist pig. The funny thing is all the while she was labeling me presumptive, it was in fact she who was making all the assumptions... a real nut job. I watched an interview with her mother and she was clearly referring to the incident and trying to blame the ridiculous outfits on Fashion Week. I have news for the legendary super model- these weren't fashion. They were stripper outfits. Its just a matter of fact.

BadMystique Google her name and search images- you will see her making these faces like Cruella Dville with her eyebrows half-way up her forehead with makeup to make her cheekbones look really severe. While she might think shes getting close to looking lie a super model, in fact what really comes across is no cigar. Its better to win in a category you can own than to be a wannabe in another which was what was going on.
