Not fast hands but overall good timing and not worried about getting hit, which leads to her extending and then ability moving back again.

Wow. She is going to be an excellent champion. Besides being great at her craft and just beating the most dominant champion in her weight class, she has an amazing personality, she’s great at press conferences and interviews, and speaks at least three languages.

Was really impressed by her and that her win wasn't just a lucky takedown. She stood her own throughout the fight, was basically evenly matched the entire fight and took advantage of an error. It speaks well to her ability to defend her title.

Let's get one thing straight, Valentina was not dominating this fights. Grasso was out striking her off the ground all night. Valentina had to take her to the mat but didn't hurt her. Grasso WON this match. She wasn't lucky

I thought Valentina might be dethroned by a physically stronger fighter considering her only recent losses to Amanda, but she is so good technically that I didn't foresee a fighter simply outsmarting her. Kudos to Alexa for her research and successfully putting it to use, not only for her final winning move but her southpaw fighting that had her matching Valentina in the standup game.

She is a technical fighter , one of the best strikers she is actually trained in real boxing her foot work is phenomenal not like MMA boxing and she is dominant in her bjj shows how much you know of the sport

Her fighting style reminds me of Minotauro Nogueira (Big Nog) Especially her grappling she leads her opponents into a false sense of security, and when they drop their guard, she pounces almost like a crocodile that sneaks up on it's victims.

@@megaunknown400 never said she was getting annihilated. I didn't even say grasso was doing bad. I said it was a mistake on valentinas part. Alexa switching stances threw off valentina. In the rematch alexa won't have that slight advantage and valentina will then annihilate her.

look at Nicks legs from the top of his tear drops on the thighs to wear his love handles are it is sunken his taper is messed up it ruins his sweep on his thighs is it just me or am I the only person seeing this !!! and the mid section is just too thick sorry not a pleasing physique to look at not like the other guys

The Referee Fight cheated, when Valentina was hitting Alexa, the match was suddenly stopped by the Referee. Valentina had protested. There must be a rematch.

@@Willbslaps she really didn’t figure her out Valentina was just scared of her because she has a similar body like Nunes. Built tough and can handle punches and kicks. She didn’t really do anything fancy. I totally give Alexa the win 💯 . That type of win is not really a win but okay. A true win is out striking your opponent, like TKO, knockout. I’m almost positive Valentina will come back and beat her like Nunes beat Peña. Both Nunes and Peña have tough bodies built to take bangs! Other women get hit and they buckle easier. Valentina underestimated her. She has a tougher body. Valentina will have to focus on lifting weights to hit harder.

It's Pena all over again, she'll lose the rematch then go back to gate keeper.
