I know, right? It's why I like Trinny and her rail of things from 10 or even 20 years ago and how she's styling them. No nice vintage stores near me--I need to plan a trip into L.A. for the weekend. It's hard to buy vintage online when you're short and not super skinny.

Please, please continue with this series!! I want to see you peek in many French women’s closets. I would like to see a stereotypical small French wardrobe, not like huge wardrobes that fill entire rooms. I like seeing the thought process of picking out outfits as well.

I'm french - and thank you for the interest you have for our culture - but please, english girls and women are so great, much cooler, excentric and free than french ones!! Loooove english styles!! Paris - and I live there - can look so boring cause everybody looks the same, no one takes any "risk" with their style. Embrace your englishness, don't try to look french, you're way cooler!

tbh I've been both to london and to paris and i just love the dark lipstick look on myself, while in london it would be just normal or I'd even get compliments (in the words of the guy who helped me at lush waterloo station, "goth queen"), in Paris I'd get side eye, or confused looks on why i was wearing that look, which is not only sad because parisian won't take risks, but they seemed quite judgemental on you if you just do you

Running towards my mid 30's now and I swear by simplicity in both skincare and make-up. Still look alot younger then my friends who experiment with restalin and botox fillers... Age with confidence. Age gives you an advantage and a subtle authority. So nice! Loved this video.

I was really glad to hear her say that, I've always felt I couldn't judge my clothes or hair even properly when looking in the mirror, when looking myself in the eye...I realise now why, and the psychology behind it, and relieved its not just me!

My face tingles and feels amazing after this, and what's wonderful is that organic rosehip seed oil is quite inexpensive for a bottle, so I love to find that's what the facialist recommends since I already use this as a simple moisturizer. And I love love love Caroline, and I loved her tips for the effortless style. Both of you (Alexa & Caroline) give such great inspirational vibes and so thank-you! I'm Caroline's age and I so resonated with what she says about how it feels to have your skin and your face change. Can't wait to pick up her book. Gros bisous! x

In watching this series the thing I find the most peculiar about her seemingly quintessentially French pals is that they all have moments of intense deep understanding and knowledge but the very next sentence will be something very vain or shallow I don’t know what to make of them
