They are used to it, a lot of animals including bears restrain themselves to their playmates level when playfighting, since it lengthens the time they can have fun and helps deepen their bonds. Usually it's while playing with another bear so there's not quite as much holding back, but the basics were there already.

@@jabthejedi You'd usually drug a dangerous animal either to make it docile, in which case you shouldn't have it engage in any kind of fights, even playfights, or to make them slower, clumsier and weaker, which in the case of a bear would still mean as long as it can stillrun it's not drugged up enough to engage in wrestling. For these reasons wrestling with a drugged bear, even if drugged by a professional, would be a higly risky if not borderline suicidal endeavour. Gaining it's trust to the point you can playfight with it takes longer but would be a lot safer. That doesn't mean I reject the possibility though since I have been on the internet long enough to know there's plenty of people who'll engage in higly risky if not borderline suicidal behaviour for cheap thrills or for a few clicks and likes.

Anyways any wild caught raccoons I have kept have gone violent around 3 years old. Girls being the meanest. I have two four year olds that I took in around a week old. Male and female. No scars yet. Would you rather let a 20+ pound raccoon eat peanut butter off your tongue or wrestle a bear?

He is so cute, he reminds me my huge dog you know. When he want hugs I'm always alert because I know how easily he can hurt me. 😂 And it makes me think about me and my wife, I'm two time her weight and always call me "bear", so she is probably very careful to not being injured when we are together. 😂 Think about it, it's an interesting idea. 😅
