6 years ago I was in a TAFE metal band. The first they had in years and we gave this a go. We did good but a few of our members couldn't get the timing right which is understandable, simple but a crazy song. We all looked at the "walk home boy" part and did just that. That said, we pushed forward with other songs and stole headliner from the class above. From there, I was stuck in two pop bands and impressed established Aussie musos with my 7 string. None of this is to brag, I just wanna inspire other musos to keep it up, take what you do and try something new if that works for you. Go nuts, be yourself and create new sounds. I can say a 7 string being drop E, playing bass and ambience worked well for even a pop group. Do your thing. Not the type of thing I would normally say on one of Alex's vids but hey, I had a bit to drink and everyone deserves to have a bit of musical power
