Has joined the Perth Wildcats as part of the NBL Next Stars program and is looking to be the latest exciting prospect to end up being a high first round NBA Draft pick.
Has enormous natural physical gifts, with the 18-year-old already standing 7'1 with a wingspan beyond that, and with terrific athleticism and a shooting touch for someone his age and size.
Grew up in France and by 2019 moved to Spain to be part of Real Madrid's cadet youth team, before becoming part of the Overtime Elite program in Atlanta, Georgia in 2021.
On the back of that, has now joined the NBL as part of the Next Stars program to finalise his preparations for the 2024 NBA Draft and has landed with the Perth Wildcats, where he will be given every opportunity to shine in the front court.
Has already shown himself an explosive athlete who can dunk, can block shots and can move well enough to be a defensive presence out on the perimeter. Also has a nice shooting touch and at just 18 years of age, the French excitement machine continues to rise up the draft boards all the time.

I think people are underrating this draft because we just got spoiled with Wemby because I’m looking at a 7’1 dude with a jump shot, handle, and is quick on his feet, Saar can also be a generational player or am I tweaking?

Sarr looks amazing in these highlights but watch him against Australia's centers & they push him around pretty easily. I can only imagine what actual NBA bigs will do. I think for now he's like a much better defensive version of Christian Wood.

@TT-dv9er I don't think Sarr can play center in the NBA, but for sure, he can play PF. He will fare much better on switches against guards rather than Gobert. The main issue is his shooting at PF, really needs to improve.

Hawks version of D. Lively. Agile. Defensive focused. Limited offensively but the foundation is there. Difference is he’s gonna have more responsibilities on Offense so that could make him avg more than lively. Another difference is he’s comfortable with handling the ball more than lively. Still worthy of that #1 pick.

@@lukamagicgod Ad isnt as stiff as KG & cant move his feet that quick laterally. This guy is lengthy and intense on the defensive end and can run the floor due to length. Although, unless the hawks trade capela, i hope they dont take him.

You cant be serious. I mean I'm not very high on Sarr either but athleticism alone makes this guys ceiling 100x's higher than Edey. Plus Edey wont get bailed out by the refs in the NBA like he did in college.
