Whilst these reporters know what they’re signing up for, there’s no way he would’ve been allowed by Sky to NOT ask that, they would’ve been in his ear the whole time telling him to drop that question in. It’s pointless really because all you’ll ever get is a rehearsed deflected answer

I loved Coutinho as a player. He gets some grief, unfairly, from Liverpool supports for going to Barcelona. Lets not forget he indirectly helped with our recent success. His massive price tag helped us rebuild and put us where we are today.

I think u will be hard pushed to find too many LFC supporters who have a bad word to say about him. He's still loved and tbh I would of loved to have him back at Liverpool, plus his sale to Barca transformed our defence and allowed us to build a better core. Hope he comes back to the prem permanently and under Gerrard I can see him getting back to his best. Villa have got a complete upgrade on Grealish if they keep him

What do you mean by unfair grief? He was part of the team that was building towards a Premier League winning side, and then he just left, right in the middle, because Barca called. Yes Virgil helped, but maybe we would have won with Phil that year..
