He's got 725 goals and counting, yet he still acts like he's scoring his first NHL goal every time... What an absolute legend

Even if he doesn’t pass Gretzky, in my book, he will be the greatest goal scorer of all time. Just look at the goaltending in the 80’s and try telling me you couldn’t score.

@@theterrar3566 and I'm saying from a today's goalie perspective. Today's goalies are much better. The style is 10 times better. They use to be stand up goalies which is worse than today's house league style. They flopped, which is also worse than today's house league goalies.

Best hockey player ever, I don't care what the stats are the guy is the most entertaining by far.

I'm a Penguins fan but i got so much respect for OVI, He's gonna pass Gretzky for most goals, I was smiling and felt happy for him when he won and raised the cup and he's the best player in the world, Us Pens and Caps both fight and we both talk crap, but its ok because in the end we both have the 2 best generational players (Sid and Ovi) and we both hate the Shitty classless Flyers

I don’t comment videos. But this channel/person makes great hockey videos. Not only framing, beats and regular video editing. What admire me most, he really understands every moment, every emotion, every situation of what he is presenting to us. The guy is really doing world class videos and I just can’t stop rewatching them for several years.

Most explosive player in the history of the NHL. I know Rocket Richard or Gordie would be there but as far as the last 50 years the Great 8 must be.

Ovechkin is a real hockey star. Probably the greatest star. Not only does he score the most goals. He's a real team leader. Russian bear (in a good way). He is not afraid to appear funny or look stupid. Even outside the game, he's a star, he creates the mood. That's why even fans of other teams love it. Gretzky scored when the goalkeeper was scary to look at, I think in the current outfit he would not have scored so much.

The editing on this is beautiful, really fitting song too. More hockey fans need to watch this, too many people nowadays think Ovi is just a camping power play scorer despite him leading the league in even strength goals multiple times. Like how can someone even non ironically think he only scores on PP’s when he has almost 450 even strength goals? Like that’s almost as many goals as Crosby has total.
