What are your thoughts on Nikon buying RED? It could be an interesting video topic.

It is definitely really interesting news. My feeling is that it is likely to impact RED more than Nikon. I can't see Nikon keeping the RF mount on Red for long. And I suspect that it won't make a big difference to Nikon video - because that is already very good - and I guess they will want the RED range above the Nikon cameras in terms of video hierarchy.
