I’m convinced that only the grace of God enabled me to survive the excessive drinking we all did in college. It’s ironic that we studied Greek philosophy in class, to wit moderation in all things, but practiced extreme immoderation in pubs and frats. It shows that a philosophy book is dead. These days when I have one drink and stop there I thank God for the temperance of Gal 5:22 in the living bible.
