The fact that he has reached this level from only 3 dances, just shows the extreme amount of talent that young man has. Though I would love to see him on SYTYCD again (just because it's so accessible to me), there are so many better places he can and will go. Best of luck to the boy and his shining career as a dancer! I stopped watching this show for quite a few years. After the massacre of little kids shattering my heart and making me really angry (over senseless gun violence yet again), mindlessly channel surfing last night I saw SYTYCD on the guide and decided to record it. So glad I did! The last dancers audition gave me some desperately needed inspiration after months of deep depression. Another dancer auditioned to ‘Get Out of Your Mind’ and I immediately flashed back to Alex Wong and Twitch, which in turn led me to Hallelujah with Alex and Allison. Of the seasons I watched, this one was by far my favorite! I was broken hearted when Alex ruptured his Achilles. I KNOW he would have won. Even though I lost interest in the show for many moons, Alex Wong forever left his mark on my soul!

some people do not understand the poetry of dance as Nigel Lythgoe tried to explain. the ones that kept screaming for alex did not understand this dance piece should have complete silence. such an extraordinary dance and fantastic Sonya Tayeh is the choreographer. my opinion the people who shouted out alex, alex had no reverence as they watched this and should have kept their mouth closed. every time i watch this i get mad at the shouters and if it was possible to remove them and keep the music on and complete the dance. even with this i still enjoyed the dance of allison and alex choreographed by sonya tayer will be in my top of the top danced.

im not much into the dance, but agree. HATE HATE with all my heart when I go to a concert and people scream for 2 hours non stop! At least in dance you can see, and shut down the screams in your mind, because you still can see the art. but when the art goes in thru your ears and these bunch of "sheep people" just dont stop for a second to actually understand what they are looking (hearing) at . For example, I waited years to finally see live Nick cave and the bad seeds. and people dont even shut up in the Piano ballads. it was the most disappointing concert i ever been. And Nick and the band were awesome. Art is not for everyone. Here we had Jeff Buckley wonderful interpretation of Cohen "Hallellujah" and the screams ruin it big time.

This is not a routine people scream during, if you're going to go to any kind of dance event please know that during these slower lyrical- contemporary dances especially you DON'T yell. It's disrespectful and distracting and should be saved for fun dances. The women were so annoying in the crowd during this it's nice that they were being supportive but shit.

Thank you!!! I was watching Twitch's and Allison's dance show for Ellen today and trying to figure out where I had seen Allison from!!!!
Still one of the most powerful pieces ever on SYTYCD
If Alex had not injured himself and had to leave the show he would have run away with top prize at the end.
There's no style that Alex can't master! He's all kind of phenomenal! Huge fan of his since SYTYCD!
I start crying before they even start dancing because I know how intensely beautiful this performance is. Dude would have won it, hands down. Absolutely stunning. The judges hit it right on the head, as you watched, you felt their movements within you. I hope Alex goes far even after his injury.
Alex was an amazing dancer. His injury was cruel to the heart. He could have won. He deserves it!
i can't believe to this day that i was lucky enough to see this in person. this is one of the greatest if not the greatest dance of sytycd.
the best two dancers (best male, best female) this show has ever had.
This was the best season! I mean really! There was this, Gravity by Mia, Bleeding Love, and so many other genius dances that touched my heart.
I love Alex. Such an amazing dancer.
Out of all the seasons, season 7 gave me my top two most memorable dancers: Alex Wong and Lo Fro. Alex is seriously in a league of his own, and I cry every time I watch him dance. He and Lauren ARE dance and they are music.
7 years later that performance still gives me goose bumps.
He has me in more tears when he tore up that hip hop!!! It's just so, so so very hard to get a ballet dancer to do hip hop, he not only is talented like crazy, he is humble and modest and put in that much effort into another form of dance and expression, that is such a beautiful thing and look what happened...
This guy's control of his lower body (legs, in short) is amazing. when he lands, he lands so so smooth, and after landing, his legs sticks to the ground like magnets. WOW
alex was the an absolute gem and deserved to win this whole show. Unlucky injury to him and cant wait to see him dance again im gonna be watching for him thanks for the post mate much love
Who cares if the audience is cheering? They're showing appreciation! I dance on stage a lot and when people cheer in the audience it makes me and the rest of the dancers fell amazing however away from that this such an amazing duet, beautiful!

Feel*
The most beautifully constructed dance in the history of this show in my opinion! Goosebumps!
I've been dancing for 16 years, I have always loved when the crowd cheers throughout the dance. Cheering helps me keep my energy up!
Watching this in 2020 - my goodness Nigel's commentary got to me in this re-watch more than it did in real time. Correct, sir.
This was breath taking! When I watched this on my laptop, for some reason,I felt tears and found myself crying.I was like wait why am I crying! This dance just made tears stream down my face and I didn't even know why!All I can say is brilliant!
I used to compete against him. He was quite the little character back then lol... He's grown into one of the (if not the most) amazing dancers I've ever known. Just incredible.
Still one of my favorite. AMAZING!!!!!
I'm such a sap this makes me cry every time I watch it.
This is one of the most beautiful art i have seen!! Excellence at its finest!!
I love Sonya's reaction to his dancing in the rehearsals. Usually she's really sharp and to the point, almost like a drill sergeant. Here she's like, "That'll do..."
I may have a couple of drinks in me, but you can at least take my words for truth. I shed a few tears for this performance.Pure majesty from both dancers. Please like this video.
Two of the greatest dancers to grace the stages of SYTYCD..... Performing a dance that would ring thru the ages..... #amazing
i'm still shocked this wasn't nominated for an emmy i mean... this piece was absolutely beautiful and it most certainly deserved a nomination
One of the BEST SYTYCD routines EVER!!
Sonya is incredible.
Pure genius. I never get tired of watching this.
Love this dance. Touches my heart every time i watch it.
When I saw Alex during the Oscars a few weeks back, I was so happy and glad to see him. He needs to keep dancing no matter what. Love the guy!
Alex is without a doubt one of the most talented dancers in the history of this show, but for God's sake I couldn't take my eyes off of Allison. She made this dance for me.
I LOVED THE SHOW FROM DAY ONE. IT HAS SOME OF THE BEST DANCERS IN THE WORLD.
I had chills from start to finish, so beautiful
this sent shivers down my spine... amazing
If it's a fun hip hop routine or maybe even broadway, I wouldn't mind the crowd so much, but when it's an emotional routine like this, those people were SO rude. People don't have basic concert/show manners and it really ticks me off. People can't be that stupid....and yet they are.

Katie B I agree with you 100 percent!!!!!! These audiences have gotten so rude. Sometimes at the top of segments the audience is screaming so much, you can ‘t hear what the hosts are trying to say.

When I saw the show they had staff that would start cheering loudly and kinda force everyone else to cheer. So not totally the audience's fault. I was really annoying.
That was so expressive and beautiful. I cried.
This gave me chills on chills on chills. So amazing.
Yup a tear just fell. This was beautiful.
i can't get enough of this and the other Alex routines!
I love this dance.. this is what dance is suppose to do.. bring all kind of emotions out in the dancers and the audience
Alex's moves are sooo beautiful also the song mad this rotting more expressing !!
Beautiful. Thanks for putting the judges comment in too, for those of us who us who missed some episodes .
I swear if Allison doesn't get the hell outta here with all this greatness every time she get on stage.....insane!!
3 things 1) Alex is perfection in this 2) Allison is amazing. 3) Sonya is absolutely brilliant and brings the best out of her dancers. Lastly Mia said it all
I can WOW how damn awesome this dance is the moves between the two of them is exceptional... and the cheering shows the admiration people have for the dance, id cheer for them... up you alex and the beautiful allison
i loved his dancing since I seen his audition. love his lines and how beautiful he is!!!!!
Speechless. I can't even bear the weight of this dance's beauty.
This piece is stunning. It always touches me. I don't know if she got one, but Sonya deserved an award for this masterpiece.
some people do not understand the poetry of dance as Nigel Lythgoe tried to explain. the ones that kept screaming for alex did not understand this dance piece should have complete silence. such an extraordinary dance and fantastic Sonya Tayeh is the choreographer. my opinion the people who shouted out alex, alex had no reverence as they watched this and should have kept their mouth closed. every time i watch this i get mad at the shouters and if it was possible to remove them and keep the music on and complete the dance. even with this i still enjoyed the dance of allison and alex choreographed by sonya tayer will be in my top of the top danced.

im not much into the dance, but agree.

I get fans scream cause they're excited for their favs but pieces like this require silence so you can listen and see and feel what every tiny movement and musical note is portraying.
Like is not a strong word. I ABSOLUTELY ADORED..wait LOVED.. WORSHIPED this performance. WOW!!
This really was epic dancing. I still remember seeing this for the first time. Still hits the same as it did the first time.
my all time favorite dance!!!!! makes me cry every time
THE LIFTS ARE AMAZING! AND I LOVE THE SONG!
Amazing ,, Sonia is so creative ,,, Alex and Allison just woooow
I’m here watching this after tWitch’s death because I wanted to see that hip hop routine they did, but I just ended up starting to watch Alex’s videos. Watching Allison dance here, I realized that she’d been doing a lot of dancing outside of her style, even being on DWTS. I really hope she eventually gets back to this style when she’s up to it.
Still one of the absolute best performances Ever!!
This piece gaved me chills.
omg, amazing, the emotion was perfection
Let it out, man!!! Don't hide your tears. You WORTH those compliments!!!
You ever notice how anyone who dances with allison is taken to a whole new level emotionally, she was ridiculous!!!
Amazing!! they were so good!
The very best dancer EVER on SYTYCD!!!My favorite dancer ever!! Bravo Alex!!You're the champion to me!!!
moved me to tears. WOW
I love him!!He is really and truely an amazing and insightfull dancer!!!
I am just now seeing all of Alex's dancing. I have tears because when they were trembling and shaking when dancing, it reminded me of how my legs wouldn't hold me when I had spinal cancer last year. And yet, I had the love and prayers of friends who helped me through it.. Alex, please don't despair. Get better and dance for us who cannot dance, who are blessed to actually walk now. Be our legs. I love you. I almost called the # at the end! (Ha!)
Dance and music❤. Absolutely the best thing given to humans
JusT STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex has beautiful, beautiful technique.
that was very beautifully said...The same happened to me..thanks to that show....Finally dancers have been appreciated
Wooooooo... get me every time. I was so broken hearted when Alex was injured and couldn't continue. He would have taken the cake that season.
WOW THAT MADE ME CRY TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! BEAUTIFUL
The audience wouldn't have made me as mad if they actually cheered at good parts. They just cheered randomly for no reason. "Woah Alex walked! YAAAASSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
