Oh I like you pointed out why I feel different with this song, it might be the first time Chris actually sing melodic thing xD. Thanks for that Besides that, i think it's the first time they made a completely serious video since Keelhauled? Imagine if this with Cape fear rive costumes that would be PERFECT

Hahah oh yeah possibly! The video itself was pretty amazing aside from the song but yeah that’s actually a good point. Keelhauled was obviously a very pirate video as It should be! Everything else did get silly 😂😂 midgets and the like. Magellan’s Expedition was good until the giant duck 😂

That's a fantastic song. Alestorm are Alestorm though, so as long as they continue with the daft pirate drinking zombie songs as well, I'll be happy. The ending with Patty and the harsh vocals was totally Eluveitie. And Eluveitie being the 3rd best band in the world, means that's not a bad thing at all. Ps. I loved the last album.

seventh rum was a fantastic album. Took a few listens but very good

You hear Chris sing (almost) melodically when they do Nancy The Tavern Wench live; they do the second verse very un-metally.

Oh yeah true there’s that clip from “At The End of The World” live gig Melbourne I’m pretty sure haha but to me that sounds like he’s singing almost mockingly😂 still great though

I absolutely don't hate when "silly little bands" get a way too good guitarist. It just means I get to enjoy their solos even more ! I'm not sure you can call Alestorm a little band anymore. Silly, yes, but little ? They've certainly made a name for themselves by now !

Haha oh yeah absolutely. Even one of the “little” bands I named dropped was Van Halen 😂😂 but no obviously Alestorm are huge in terms of European metal scene 🤘🏻

@SUNNYDINTHEREAL I did an Alestorm album ranking as one of my first videos if yoy wanna check that out 😂 but if not I’ll save you the trouble and say that it’s No Grave But the Sea! The perfect blend of epic pirate anthems like end of the world and treasure island as well as the title track! But then even the sillier songs like rage of the pentahook and pegleg potion are just awesome. The singles too Mexico and Alestorm the song are just amazing haha

I love the chorus, but otherwise I'm not really feeling it. Patty's voice is kind of bitter sweet, a bit sad but uplifting at the same time.

Huge step up from the last album. Didn‘t like Seventh Rum at all

I think Chris is just ticking off different heavy metal niches to have bands for, and this is his "rock band fronted by a pretty lady" era, which is not gonna help the people who mishear the band as "Halestorm" at all

Patty makes this song....the alestorm singer is rubbish tbh
