When I was a kid everybody told me that I should be different and I should fit in, if I didn't, I was ugly.I was a very very self conscious kid and I always wear Pants and long sleeve shirts. I would hate being the odd one out here in this song. It's just makes me feel so happy that people are lost that you are beautiful. Just the way you are and that you don't need to behind all the secrets or just you're beautiful. This is such a gorgeous song and I hope that anybody who listens to this. When I was younger, I realized I was gaining weight but after I listen to this song, I realize that I was insecure, but after hearing this song over and over and finally understanding the message realizing it’s not your body it’s not yourself. It’s no one you just gotta realize that you’re amazing and you’re way and it’s hard to see that, when you finally see it it’s not the boys. It’s not anyone saying ugly. You’re bad at singing or anything you just gotta take it. Use it not against you. You get better to the song. I realized I’m amazing. I’m not that I shouldn’t be self insecure. @@angelacavon7305 Surprising how those negative voices didn't even enter your head when you were a kid. It came bc of how society characterizes beauty in a particular way. I was never insecure about my bodyweight or how I looked, I was just a normal kid, wanting to play with all the other kids. But idk how those things changed when my so-called "friends" started "joking" around regarding my weight, which they did, very often. It even reached the point when I starved myself, skipped meals and lied to my mom that I have eaten a bunch at school and I was full when I didn't even finish half of my lunchbox. I hope no one goes through that, just remember, you are perfect just the way you are. And, as she said, "you don't have to change a thing, the world could change its heart" :)

@@taekooktrash9607 Yeah, it's really the people telling you who you are and what to do when to do it. Cause there are other bullies who have told them who they should be and boss them around. It's a cycle really that's been going on for generations. Has anyone broken that cycle? I think not.

mf can’t I have an opinion nowadays? I won’t ever call someone ugly in right in their face, but sometimes I think people are ugly, and I know people think the same about me, but I’m totally fine with that.

She’s so underrated tbh like, her musics really good but yet she’s not like incredibly known which is sad, she’s naturally beautiful and she’s unproblematic too!! Not in any drama, just doing her own things

I was going to comment about this, but I am from Nebraska and "Here" was the first song I ever heard by her. Down the rabbit hole, I went and followed this beautiful musician. It wasn't until I married my husband and moved to Canada that I realized she's Canadian lol. And, gosh, she's so pretty, too. And modest. Her music travels.
