For how less common incidents are, the commentators are so calm. If this was an nba game, the commentators would be screaming their heads off while other players try to join the scuffle. I'm impressed with how calmly they resolved this.

I always get the feeling in many NBA scuffles that everybody exaggerates and escalates everything just for the sake of cinematic drama. I don't necessarily think that they do it on purpose, but there's certainly a culture for it. Commentators freak out instantly, players feel like they're stars on television and one shove becomes instantly a great opportunity for tv entertainment. (No question WWE is an american thing)

I am reading some comments from people that have probably started watching basket today or yesterday... The other one below (named avangarda) says that "Angola players have zero brain". Italy offended the sport of basketball (at least its unwritten fair play rules ) by taking seriously their last attack instead of stoping and shaking the hands of the opponents. Instead of that , they choose to take the last attack. Angola players (even if offended) play defence normally. And then, the worse player of Italy (look at his stats) provokes like that the Angolan player. For me it was a double offense against Angola. 1. they took the last play seriously by leading 30 points ( ...Jesus Christ.. ) and 2. that pushing from Gentile to a normal defense situation 15 seconds before end... Angolan player replied with a push and a headshot which was nothing less and nothing more than replying to that double offense. I am watching and understanding that sport since 35 years and I have NEVER seen a biggest humiliation for a player that that what happened to Gentile. Alessandro , you can still save your carrier, please respect the sport that we love.
