We have players like Delpiero if they play on tv right now they will become so famous and so rich like messi and cr7. But Delpiero's era there were so many players very hard to compete with. Each country had a strong team with great defense and strikers. Now they can be counted with fingers and you will barely need both hands to count.

Del Piero 94-97 was close to the same level as Ronaldo9. While Ronaldo had more speed, dribbling and head ability, Del piero made it up on other areas…..vision, assists and long distance shooting. Remember, Del piero was a number 10, while Ronaldo a number 9, and they both scored the same amount of goals in the first 2 years. Also, another factor to consider. Juventus sold baggio for del piero, who was a ballon d’or winner and the best dribbler by far on série A, after Maradona left Naples. He was considered on a par with Maradona level of dribbling. Not many people know that. We’re talking of an era where van basten, boban, savicevic and weah were playing in série a (monster dribblers) and baggio was the best of them all. Juventus sold him for Del piero, because Del piero was a serious dribbler and had super vision while he was 20 years old.

Io ho visto il 90% delle partite e credimi vedere 90 minuti di Del Piero è un qualcosa di straordinario! Questi sono solo piccoli video. Nessuno è stato come lui perché nessuno gli assomigliava, era unico nel tiro, nei dribbling, nelle punizioni, nei lanci lunghi, nell’intelligenza tattica, bel visione di gioco e poi anche ai calci di rigore! Nessuno..nè Cr7 o Messi o Neymar o Maradona o R. Baggio o Henry o Ibra o Zidane, Ronaldo e nessuno era completo come Del Piero! Forse questi erano anche più forti di lui in certe cose specifiche ma nessuno era completo come lui! Purtroppo che nessuno lo capisce in Italia! Era troppa invidia su di lui!

I doubt he has any skill to be mentioned in the matches he played for the national team, he was a club player, unlike the devine pony tail Roby Baggio. During Delpiero time, I actually believed that Francesco Totti was way better than him.

No son iguales la verdad cuanto les cuesta a ustedes analizar con razon los estafan con cualquier paquete de jugador...Del piero podia hacer 5 funciones...Media punta..Segundo delantero,Centro delantero,Extremo por izquierda y derecha y volante central pero Raúl no podia hacer de media punta porque su tecnica solo es finalizadora pero no creadora el no tiene la visión de un Baggio un Pirlo un Del Piero un Totti dime cuando ha hecho Raul un pase de profundidad entre los defensas ? Jamas y vengo viendo la Liga desde 1990 hermano se que lo te digo yo vi al Super depor ,Valencia,Real Sociedad ,Villareal en fin y para los pases tenian a Redondo y a Seedorf y mas adelante a Zidane .Saludos

Raul was a striker……Del piero was a true number 10…..a fantasista, as the Italians use to say. He scored a lot of goals for a fantasista, hence why he was compared to R9 in série A. Raul was never at his level.

hi, yes, many of the clips come from my personal collection of juve dvds, which i used to offer in my now closed channel 3 years ago.... many youtubers at the time took my clips, even without asking permission, and then published them on their channel. Then, for copyright reasons, mine was closed, and so today there are still some youtubers who find themselves with the clips I proposed..... to date, I own more than 200 historical matches of del piero between juve and national team, but I no longer wanted to open a youtube channel....
