Right on man!

I don't understand why this is still so unpopular. First of all this is a sublime, unique and masterful way of playing the syths, second it is absolute gold to sample for any producer (though it seems to have a slight inconsistency in its bpm I really couldn't pin down) and third it just has so much atmosphere and character, this could easily used as soundtrack for various movies, shows and other media, even in a videogame this would be just too awesome.

condivido le tue considerazioni; nemmeno io mi spiego perchè Cortini non sia noto al grande pubblico oppure perchè la sua musica non venga utilizzata negli ambiti che hai descritto. Ha una base musicale solidissima, una passione smisurata, una strumentazione di altissimo livello ed un talento naturale infinito. Non smette di fare seria ricerca, sperimentare e lavorare duramente ed ha collaborato con grandissimi musicisti. Non gli manca davvero nulla, eppure!

Ja, ja... maybe you hit it on the head: "just TOO awesome" & "sublime", which, taken literally in the sense of eliciting awe, would be an unusual idiom for a videogame? Perhaps also it is because it rather straddles the gulf in expectations between electro-beat music and arthouse ambient, however intriguing we may find that?

I mean, congruent with the graphic aesthetic, it is, even in comparison to genre relatives such as Tim Hecker or Loscil, say, quite "Pop" (as in Pop Art)... & i'm rather liking that, the tension, almost contradiction, in it....
