I concur

I think people don't undestand the purpose of a layer 1. It's not about smart contracts, it is about perfecting the sequencing processes of transactions. And there is no other person on earth that knows more about that than Yonatan Sompolisky.

@Cepryl Will Alpheium get going later in cycle? I like it a lot, but it doesn’t seem to have the hype of Kaspa and some other L1. I own both currently. Thanks.

I don’t see why this would get going after other newer L1s. Look at chart, this has been pumping just like Kaspa was doing. On a smaller scale that is.

you can make that point about any crypto project. nothing's safe, and that's why you diversify. I have KAS, ALPH, TET..

Alephium has preallocated coins to the team. That means that there is a company behind it and that company may also have built up a mining ecosysystem prior to the launch. This is not decentralized (even though the tokenomics look better than many other projects) and thus cannot be compared to Kaspa.
