I have almost the same feelings. I prefer this Grand Prix to be in Canada or America again

My eyes almost come out in anger when I saw there are few 7s in pcs. Come on judges!

this performance particularly wasn't as captivating ...she was rushing quite a bit...not taking her time with the choreo...though the choreo is frantic....but we all know the judges don't care about that ...PCS is a total shitfest for them

Yeah, me too. It's kinda refreshing to see critical judging. I just hope they implement it to ALL skaters in ALL competition. Yeah those few sevens in pcs threw me off.

Is this a joke? This was a spectacular, complex program with a FULLY ROTATED 3A and her PCS should be the highest in the competition.

Mizu Kumayama the hell do you mean? Axel was fully rotated and only 25 degrees off, which is clean. Mariah Bell had ! And < uncalled for.

@@jekicolin8036 look at the shadow projected by her blade and you'll be able to see the exact moment she takes off, it's 3 revs, maybe 3.1 if you're generous. In any case, judging was harsh for everyone today and not just one skater. Many people demanded more strict judging and while this isn't perfect, I'll take it as the start of a change. As long as this change goes for everyone and not just a few selected skaters, I'll take it

Mizu Kumayama if it’s lacking 180 then that’s

She got 77.25 in Finlandia and she didn't do the 3A there. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? She was more nervous here, and I enjoyed her performance at Finlandia more but she is the most complete female skater at the moment. She has the artistry, beautiful skating skills, good jumps and consistency. Give her goddamn PCS. If anyone deserves it, it's her. How can you justify any 7s?!

The scratchy landings on the 3A and 3Lz took away from the ease and fluidity of the program which affects PCS. Alena is divine but that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be penalized for her mistakes. 33 PCS is still wonderful for her first big senior competition. It’ll only rise as she continues to skate this program (hopefully perfectly clean next time). The UR and edge call also hurt her TES which is why she scored lower even with the 3A in her program this time.

She's the best of the new Russians. Forget the crazy quads, she's the perfect combination of artistry and athletism which is what I want to see in FS.

anibalsagenev People won’t be forgetting the quads. That’s historical. Unbelievably difficult element to achieve even for a man.

Alena was beautiful. The way she glides on ice.... Even without quads I feel she's the most complete skater among Eteris girls, right now..... Quads can't beat her. Maybe she may lose the 1st place in GPF because of not having quads to Sasha or Anna, but Gosh no one can own her artistry. I love the way she interpretes any piece of music given to her. Edit: I'm glad Alena won the GPF🥇🏅🏆🌟

Indeed. Skaters like Yuna Kim and Alyona Kostornaia are the reason why i'm in love with figure skating, even though the sport has had bad reputation for lacking quality judging and scoring.

@@issaboss4641 I like Anna's speed on ice but I feel Alena is really graceful.

What a wonderful performance from this young lady! She struggled so much the previous day in practice, she left the rink in tears but she looked so calm and collected here you wouldn't had guessed it! She proved to everyone that not only is she a beautiful skater but she also has the character of champion. She was able to put a disappointing practice behind her and focus on her task and also to deal with the pressure of being the favorite for the 1st place. This must be very new to her because previously, when she competed against her other training mates in junior competitions, the pressure was on them, since they had the more difficult planned content. But now, Alëna's programs are more difficult than Zagitova's, who she's competing against in both Grand Prix assignments, and she must really feel the pressure to protect the advantage she has over Alina with clean performances. Despite the small mistake on the triple axel, I am very proud of Alëna and I'm looking forward to seeing her career unfold because she really is one of the most well-rounded skaters at the moment, with exquisite skating skills and unmatched elegance.

Потому что с 2А на Финляндии у нее было 77,25 , а здесь с 3А - 76 , поэтому так и сказала, обидно же

Жест, завершающий программу - гениален. И программа очень красивая. Нравится еще с юниоров.

I can see how its UR. But the goe in her spins was low, and she should be getting 9s in all areas of PCS.

Alena is getting matured on artistry! Even with the UR & Flat, after checking again the slow motion, I figure that her scores was under evaluated by several judges especially on PCS.

IMO, not her strongest technical performance of this program but she fought through it, stuck with the choreography and presentation. Out of the crowded contingent of Russian ladies, she is one of my small group of favourites, I like her skating style and find her is a pleasure to watch 👍👏👏

When the score is shown, you can just see the raw naked disappointment and disbelief on her face. She knows she did it, and she did it MOST MAGNIFICENTLY!!! Robbed, I Say!!!

The landing on the 3A was shaky and deserved to be reflected in GOE, but an underrotation call?! WHERE?! You call that underrotated ISU?! If thats underrotated to you then where is everybody elses call?! I dont mind critical judging...but apply it to everyone if you're gonna do it and dont be selective. Dont be harsh to one skater then be super generous to the next! Also PCs are still a joke I see. This wasnt as good as Finlandia but PCs should have been higher here. You're gonna give Alena 7's in PCs and throw 8's and 9's to other ladies? Sick

3A only looks a quarter underrotated and that should not be a problem. Technical panel was harsh today and even called Alina's lutz and underrotation which never happens lmao

@@1989outsold well, I love a harsh panel that calles the mistakes instead that rewards every wrong move which leads to the destruction of the sport. But Aliona's 3A is clearly not a problem, she could have scored 80+ here

@@gunaymuradova4633 Starting last season, a quarter short is enough for an underrotation (it used to be over a quarter got you a carrot). However, even with the technical errors, I think she was criminally underscored in PCS.

She only got .13 higher than Trusova’s PCS at Skate Canada. I’m not saying anything else.

This panel seems much crazier than other events. Alina got an e on her lutz with a slight outside edge so I think you can't compare with other events

@Helen the technical panel was really harsh here but the judges were generous in PCS with some skaters. If Alina gets 36 so should Alena.

У Камилы самые легкие прыжки из всех топов-девушек. Косторная в 16 тяжелеет прыгала, чем Камила в 17. Про Щербу вообще молчу - та даже в 15 их еле вытягивала

It´s pleasant to see something so perfect in this world. Everything what Alena did is artistically marvellous and I feel her disappointment through her eyes when they give the score. The word "gulag" must be reserved for these judges.

Trusova getting higher PCS than Alena is a complete joke😂 But whatever, she cannot beat Alena's artistry and presentation.

Apparently major problem is Judges losing their ability of valuing the art in skating. She's so cute getting it together after seeing her result.

While I am glad she did 3axel in SP, I miss the layback ina bauer entrance. The techincal panel was strict and IMO the 3 axel could be call under or not depending on the TP. The lutz though while many received edge call how Mariah Bell didn't get one really confused me.

The judges forgot their glasses? Or are they not able to appreciate such a spectacular performance? The rest of us who are not judges and are not watching upclose and are not 'experts' 'specialists' are able to judge better? If I messed up at work like they did here I'd be goooone. Takes away really from the performance that Alena displayed. I should be focusing on her skating skills instead 'm lamenting the judges scoring. It is a sport afterall and I want to see the best skater on the day win by a fair score and it was Alena's day. Shame on you judges!

3A was downgraded?....hmmmmm.....looks good to me.

Edge problem on the Lutz and that shaky 3A landing but the 3F and her skating are as divine as always.

One of the most graceful skaters out there. Her arms movements are so beautiful. She needs to tighten her jumps though.

She's such a pleasure to watch even if she makes mistakes. Those huge high jums and step sequence like no one else does my God. I loved Aliona's face expresion when she saw her scores and she said: "Why did I even bothered? 🙄" 😄 Judges can be such an idiots sometimes...
