That was before Bob got a ton of injuries and CTE. I think they didn't let him juice as much anymore either. When he fought Hoost he was juiced to the gills. I think Hoost damaged Sapps knees in those fights, the low kicks were just brutal.

He was never meant for any sports. He's just a really nice soft hearted guy. I can guarantee he didn't get into fighting, but someone saw him and wanted to pay him to fight because of his size, for our amusement but we can for sure say we clicked on this video because of how big he was but we all found out he was never a fighter. That's how I came across Bob, I seen his size and had to watch the video and quickly seen after looking up more of his fights that he was never meant for fighting, yet I don't think any sport. He's just a good soft hearted guy and there's nothing wrong with that

Either Sapp takes dives for a payday (which at times seems obvious) or he proves that size isn't a factor in a fight but what's up inside the head. His one credo seems to be aggression & intimidation at the beginning & then retreat retreat retreat. With a body like his, it surprises me how he is often easily dismantled by skilled fighters much smaller than he is. Rocky Marciano, Jack Dempsey, maybe even Roberto Duran & Marvin Hagler -- they'd kill this guy inside one round. It's too bad because as "beastly" as he likes to promote himself he seems a likable fellow. He just can't fight....at all. Stepping in the ring with Aleksander was brave. Stepping into the ring with a Fedor or a Cro Cop would have been insanity. Decades ago he never would have been given a license to fight or any of his fights sanctioned by a governing body (WBC, WBA, IBF, or WBO).

It is clear that if he led a healthy lifestyle, did not sit in prison, then he would become the same legend as his brother. But Alexander is underground.
