i'm starting over at LSU this fall and am taking the aleks chem course as a prereq for their chem program and I haven't taken chem since high school which was over 10 years ago. You're doing a huge favor teaching this!

Your videos have been SO helpful with my ALEKS homework! Is there any way you can create a video of "Deducing ions in a polyatomic ionic compound from its empirical formula" ?

How do you find the Avogadro number? Is it just a number everyone knows? Or is there an algorithm?

In ALEKS it said this "A carbon atom is very, very small, so there are a lot of carbon atoms in 12 grams of carbon-12. So many, in fact, that the exact number, called the Avogadro Number (symbol N(a), is only known to within about ten trillion: N(a)=6.0221419947...x10^23" so it's always going to be that exact number. You don't have to use all the digits from that number in the equation using at least 5 of them is fine :) hope this helps!
