Thank you so much Tony! Could not make heads or tails from the ALEKS explanation. One tip I found, though. Do not round up the final answer. It will be wrong.

THANK YOU for the love of god, I work on Smartwork 5 and had THE SAME issue Algebra is my strong suit not graphing, so I was REALLY stuck. Finally got the right answer after using this video.

What would REALLY help is if you explained everything from what you did to especially the In part, dividing , multiplying, and how you didn't go the the x10^ like some equations. Need to specify what you are doing confusing a lot of us.

So instead of using the first 2 rows like Tony used, use the first row and last one because you won’t get the answer right on ALEKS. I tried doing it this way and I didn’t get the right answer, so I was curious and used the last row instead of the second row and I got the correct answer.

right. so confusing. Wish he would show ALL his work and not say "solve". Some of us (me) need every little step written out

if you follow what he does its pretty simple, do the calculations exactly as shown and you should be fine.

@@justdeah8364 I figured it out you just multiply its kinda hard to explain in a youtube comment but he multiplied both ends together and that's how he got an answer it doesn't really matter though since I'm 5 months late but I hope this helped.
