@@davidrees1279 I agree. The chemistry between Soap and Ghost is so amazing. At first, I thought Alejandro would be the villain. It’s surprised me that Philip would be that instead. Tbh, Graves did look like he would turn against the task force, but I was actually expecting Alejandro to be the one that would actually betray them (he is one of my favourite characters in this reboot), so I'm glad that he stayed loyal to the team

I was expecting Alejandro to defect too. My thought was he's new to the team/franchise, he's tied to the cartel in some way (Meaning he fights them) but with the cartel, based on some films and such, I was thinking he was a mole FOR the cartel, and that suspicion grew when we met with Valeria and they knew each other.

To be fair it is a reboot, a lot of people were expecting a lot of things to change plot wise. The thing about Graves' betrayal is that there was no bad blood between 141 and Shadow Company at the beginning and on top of that, he was friendly with soap as well so there were no signs of betrayal. Me personally, before I was even playing the game, I was expecting a Shepard betrayal but I didn't expect a Shadow Company betrayal.

Graves' betrayal leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Just the cinematic scene before, Soap and Graves celebrated detonating the missile together. Soap viewed him as his comrade, a brother. So to see Graves act so out of line so suddenly, it's so good but so heartbreaking.

I feel like it's been so long since we've gotten memorable characters that players can get attached to. Even with MW2019, I didn't really care about any of the new characters that they introduced, like Alex, Farah, Hadir, Barkov (almost forgot his name). But with this new game, the characters feel more 'special'. I don't exactly know what it is... I got attached to the characters like Rudy, Graves and especially Alejandro. The banter between him, Soap and Ghost seemed so real. They did a great job with this one.

Thats because it is real. It has finally happened. Where back in the day they would have a little 3d reneder of a character they woould move with a keyboard and mouse and command lines. This has actually been replaced by real actors acting out a real scene but the wole thing is in motion capture. It is quite an accomplishment and crazy to think of within video games. All three of the faction have worked really well with each other, I didn’t like the rest of the 141 and the Mexican S.F. talking down on them after the betrayal. @@nickysimi9866 you guys have to remember Graves and Shepherd were trying to cover up a failed secret op where they lost heavy weaponry, reason being it was an illegal operation, which would ruin Shepherd’s reputation as a leader, and Shadow Company’s reputation as a private military if the truth came out. They probably like alike
Alejandro Vargas best character specially him and soap how they call each other hermano
I found it on Reddit: It’s clear that Valeria, who hides behind the pseudonym “El Sin Nombre” has some sort of past relationship with Alejandro that goes beyond being squadmates. They get too emotional for it to have been a purely profession relationship, and Graves hints at something deeper in Enemy at the Gate when he notices Alrjandro’s similarity in phrasing to Valeria and asks “so what don’t I know about your affiliation with a drug lord?” The question is, what kind of relationship was this? One possible theory is that they are siblings. This theory is supported during Alejandro’s first interrogation of Valeria, when he states, in English, “You disgrace the army,” then checks behind his shoulder, chuckles, and continues in Spanish “Y tus hermanos, no?” (“And your brothers, no?”). Of course, this could just mean brothers in arms, but the way he chuckles, checks his shoulder, and says this in Spanish makes me wonder if this is something more. Furthermore, Alejandro’s refusal to disclose information about his family to Soap in Cartel Protection could indicate that Valeria is a family member rather than my next theory: an ex. There is lots of behavioral evidence that Alejandro and Valeria used to be a couple. The way they talk to each other gives of the impression of a couple that went through a rough separation. But my reason for making this post is to point out one particular piece of evidence that supports this theory: the name El Sin Nombre. As we learn in the campaign, “El Sin Nombre” means “That without a name” and refers to Valeria’s secretive identity. Or does it? I theorize that this pseudonym contains a double meaning: not just “El Sin Nombre” but the similarly pronounced “El Sin Hombre”: “that without a man.” Perhaps she picked this name during her breakup with Alejandro, and pretended that it was just “El Sin Nombre,” but knowing to herself the deeper meaning behind the name.
Alejandro's actor looks like Alejandro not gonna lie. So nice for his parents to make him look like the character.
Betrayal must be paid back by blood..
