Yessssss.. The Black singer’s and the White singer’s voices are harmonizing even better. The first version of New Light was okay, I loved the White singer’s almost operatic sound and the Black singer’s soulful sound... But this version is much better and it complements very well with the music. Love it!

Maybe some tweaks there and there will occur like always when a song is re worked but from the late news, this new version will be permanent
Just got cancelled for Chicago. 😞 I had my tickets and was so excited for it.

Super interesting, thank you. I prefer the Alegría in a new Light version more than the original - the CD version was okay. This was an interesting listen but the arrangement sounds like it's having an identity crisis. It also sounds like they're making it up as they go along? And the vocals are nowhere near as strong. Thanks!

They sound very similar, they’ve always had this one in the new show.
Please, help me out folks... Just to be sure.. In the first line (Valsapena-part) is sung by the Singer in Black, right? Followed by the Singer in White (who takes the top line (when they harmonize).. Their voices blend so well that it is -for me- in this version not very easy to distinguish (when they sing in lower register). I hear it easily when they both sing in a higher register.
I was going to attend the show on Houston but got postponed :'( I feel so sad.
Have you recently recorded more versions of Alegria In a New Light?

I may be wrong, but I guess the original Alegria had almost the same length as the newest one
