Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
What are alcohol inks and how do you use them? These are the most versatile art supply I have ever used. Alcohol inks work on plastic, glass, ceramic, metal, wax, wood, pumpkins, bones, shells, stones...woooo! This video shows the basics of how they work, what you need to use them and the endless possibilities for application. Perfect for the beginner or fine artist. Products used include, Pinata Color (alcohol inks) from Jacquard, Yupo by Legion, Claybord from Ampersand, ArtResin, cold wax, acetate, and ceramic tiles.

I use stencils from The Crafters Workshop store.thecraftersworkshop.com/
Ths was great! What kind of resin would you use? I’ve tried the Piñata varnish… what else can you seal with?

I use Art Resin and have a video on sealing with it and one on using the inks in it:) You can also use Kamar varnish to seal. It is a spray varnish most commonly used by oil painters. Hope this helps!
Can you use them on a canvas? And if you're going to light them on fire on a tile is it supposed to be thin layers?

Yes you can! You must make the surface smooth tho for them to have the flowing properties everyone loves. Many folks use KilZ a primer you can find at hardware and paint stores. This dries slick and smooth and will allow you to work on stretched canvas. Working with fire use caution as the ink burning is not always a visible flame. Yes, work in small areas one little bit at a time. Have fun!
What kind of paper do you use?

Yupo is the paper I use. It is made by Legion and can be found in most art stores:) I prefer the orange cover, it is their medium weight.
